They aren't, the middle section is V-shaped.

It's evidence the world would be doing just fine with a carbon tax that brings prices up to comparable levels.

Owning property carries risks and climate change changes those risks. Better sell while you still can.

Easiest is to buy a light in Germany where they all have to meet Stvzo regulations.

A sidewalk half covered in sand is not ADA compliant.

How are you going to get a ticket going speed limit - 3 mph when the threshold is 11 mph over the speed limit?
fb39ca4
No, it's increasing access. Some people can't operate a vehicle and if you turn a road into a park they can now access this land.
fb39ca4
That's exactly how it works. Drive with a safety margin or use cruise control so you don't get a ticket.

How is it land grabbing to change the use of already public land?

It's the easiest "tax" to avoid paying, and the chumps who do pay it means the government has more funding to do things like install street lights. Just don't speed.

I'd vote for a second sunset dunes out of love for the city.

Again, it's so much simpler legally if you treat the speed camera like a toll camera.
fb39ca4
You can still face your accuser in court, it's law enforcement accusing you of a crime based on evidence collected through cameras. You don't get away with murder because it was only caught on a security camera rather than a police officer personally witnessing it. Why should speeding be any different?
fb39ca4
If you can prove the camera was incorrect then of course it's reasonable to challenge it in court. But if an owner can't prove someone else is driving or that the car was stolen then the fine should fall on them because part of the responsibility of owning a car is knowing who is driving it. Or better yet the fine always goes to the owner to streamline the process and the owner can seek compensation from the driver themselves, just like they would for tolls. After all, a speed camera is nothing more than a tollbooth where the toll is $0 if you pass through it below a certain speed.

Literally any power bank will charge a MacBook, even a 5 watt USB-A one.

I'd ride over that at 20 mph. Just stand up on the pedals and it's not a problem.
fb39ca4
That's very rare, it usually gets inherited.

It's better to put a train inland, on Sunset or 19th, because it serves twice as much land in walking distance.

If only there was a form you can fill out to give them feedback.

Everyone else should've taken the train to make room for people like OP who actually need to use a car. Doubling the bridge toll would encourage this.

Just play a video in your browser or Windows Media player to suppress the timeout

If next day reservations are feasible it could be made into a game mechanics - players must reserve one high speed train per day on the previous day and if they miss it they are SOL even if it's due to a curse.
Good we should stop burning it.
