Do you view yourself as property to be given from one man to another? No? Then you need to be doing whatever you want. I'm sure someone is going to jump on this, but that's exactly what asking permission for you, from another person is. You don't ask property what it wants, you ask it's owner. This is ridiculously antiquated. I'd be having a conversation about this with both of these men and why they felt your opinion actually matters less than a view of ownership by both of them.

The amount of blatant sexism from either men or bots on this subreddit, and life in general, is part of the problem. No woman wants to have children with men that hold these ideals. No one of any gender should have to have children if they don't want them. Women are more likely to have children with men they trust and like. These comments make it very clear a lot of men don't like or respect women. That's not a safe environment for women, or any children they might have. You can go off about toxic feminism all you want, but thinking men are better, should have less responsibility, or should be blaming women for not having enough children is actually wild. None of you are leading, whatever that's supposed to mean, to anything but encouraging women to have very little to do with you.

NTA. Look, he is 14. He should be upset and embarrassed that he isn't properly using the bathroom. Set up timers or something. He can earn his games back once he shows he can engage in proper self care. Certainly help, but this is wild. If it's a medical issue you need to go to the doctor.

It's illegal to kick a child out of school with an IEP regardless of the class they are in. Please email the sped director and superintendent immediately. Possibly a lawyer depending on the response.

If your son has an IEP they can't kick him out of school. Please contact the special education director immediately as well as the superintendent. I would cc them both on an email so you have a written record.
