ok but you're overthinking this way too much. All I wanted to say is that I'd gladly chose nothing over a trip to Dubai, even if the taxes are also paid for, etc. This is not about me having to pay taxes on a prize, this is me just expressing that I dislike all that has to do with places like Dubai so much that I'd rather have nothing over a free trip there.

This makes it redundant that of course I'd choose the cash, but this is all play pretend anyway.

Leaving aside the problem that we don't really know what's true anymore, and we don't know what he actually worked on and what he's just taking credits for (ghost writers maybe?) but if it is true that he wrote the OSTs for games like earthworm jim and cool spot, those are still great OSTs and something he could be proud about.

They made really fun videos 15 years ago or so... I was a fan so naturally I also started watching the stream when they started to make it... Then it became apparent that Ethan wasn't really very good without a script... kinda stopped watching for a few years... then I tuned in again to see how they were doing and it was during the time this Trisha woman was a host... They were discussing rich life like luxury cars and the like... Trisha was trying to make Ethan buy a luxury car and Ethan was like "yeah I could probably buy a Bentley, I think it's time" and I was really confused like, what the hell is this? 2 rich people discussing how to spend money in luxury stuff? why am I watching this? so that's the last time I saw it.

I tuned back in after the news and holy crap... I watched a compilation video of Ethan now suddenly becoming this hype beast or whatever flexing his watches on the haters and all that crap he used to call people out for doing, and now he's petty suing everybody like he's logan paul or some shit... It's honestly very sad seeing it all unfold.

I've been alive for every Nintendo console release since the NES... Also, both of my parents were gamers, so I can't relate to that.

That's cool, so you're into your 40s (been alive since the times of the NES), and both your parents (which should be around their 60s) are gamers that keep up with gaming news. That's awesome, but you do understand that's faaaaaaar from being the norm, right? can we at least agree on this? (nevermind that in your situation your parents wouldn't be buying your wii u games anyways since at the time you were already an adult)... I'm talking about the broader side of the market, not the gamer niche. How much of the Wii market you figure are actual gamers vs the ones that bought it for the wiimote novelty? Sure, the "gamer" market understood what it was but the gamer market was also divided into buying 3 consoles... The casual market, which was the success on the Wii side, already lost interest, and didn't even knew what the hell it was in the first place. The few that were interested were confused because of the name, because the console itself was not the centerpiece of the marketing material, because the controlers were still the wiimotes, etc. you can't deny this all contributed to it selling very poorly.

The majority of people that bought the Wii were the casual audience. The majority of people that bought the Wii U were the gamer audience. Think about it, how many of the people you knew had a wii back then you would consider to be hardcore gamers? how many of the ones that weren't hardcore gamers got the wii u?

Parents don't keep up with gaming news. Go look at Wii U marketing material during release time... All they ever showed was the tablet. The console was always in the background and at a glance, at least to parents, looked EXACTLY like the one they already had at home... if you were around during the time the console came out you'd understand what I'm talking about. Stores explaining to parents that the Wii U was a separate console was an ordeal. Nintendo made people used to seeing a product called "Wii something" to be something related to the Wii. Then suddenly "Wii U" is a different thing? it was impossible to explain.

Same thing happened when the 3DS came out... You had the DS, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL then 3DS was a different generation? like what the hell? "oh it's a DS but with a 3d screen" then the 2DS was the 3DS without the 3D? so a DS? like the one I already have at home?

This all sounds obvious to us enthusiasts but try explaining this to your mother. It's literally impossible.

Confused parents due to Nintendo making a piss poor job of explaining that the Wii U is a different console and not just a tablet for the Wii. People to this day are learning that. 

No excuses, and the only victims here are Hila, her family, and the H3 crew. I disliked Ethan even before all of this unfolded, but I do fear about what's gonna happen when he realises just how massively he fucked up. I got grim feelings about the post regarding him removing himself from everything related to H3 "asap". Wishing nothing but the best for Hila, the family and the crew, but also I hope Ethan seeks help. I don't want to see him making anything even worse than this...

hará unos buenos 10 años ya, una vez vi un 206 justamente, manejando adelante mio que la rueda de atrás le iba bailando. onda como si tuviera solo una tuerca y floja... me pongo al lado y le aviso al conductor... la respuesta fue "si, si... ya se..." y me mira con cara de "que querés?" me quedé sin respuesta... se fue manejando como si nada.
