I mean it's whatever you want it to be which is amazing. I'm working on basically cloning my hardware ESQ-1 onto it in both formats - a stripped down groovebox engine and a high fidelity replica that's as close to the original as possible since the hardware is aging and I've already had to repair it once and finding parts is a royal pain.

I hear this repeated a lot but i don’t think it’s necessarily true that people think they will one day be billionaires and that’s the reason they oppose this. I don’t know really the actual reasons people defend billionaires but i think people think they are actually good for society or something

I have an Esq-1 and would love to be able to share patches between this and the hardware, was literally thinking the exact same thing as you! Waiting for my unit to come in the mail but was definitely thinking of working on developing something like that
