That's gotta be one of your parents saying that, right? It's such an abnormal, better-than-you, entitled-to-your-worship type of remark.

five_hammers_hamming

That makes one of us.

Rewatching now after finally watching it all, and, yup. Just, oops, all steam cloud

I'm group A.

Never heard of it and hopefully never ingested any of it.

With a hairbrush, right? Not a toothbrush. Right? Right?

One time I had a particularly terrifying dentist appointment. On the way there I bought and took some valerian root. Like, a shitload. The bottle says three capsules'll help you get to sleep. I was wide awake and took five. ...They still wore down a bit, before I actually got called back so I took two more with the help of the office drinking fountain.

That was before I got on anti-anxiety medication, incidentally.

Yep. Those are blood-thinners, a little bit.

They've mislearned that conformity is humility and individuality is arrogance.

What fresh third-panel-of-Hieronymous-Bosch's-Garden-of-Earthly-Delights is this?

Interesting use of the word "cobweb"--like, a cobbled-together web? (instead of an abandoned spiderweb)

I don't think it looks like Berkeley's at all (buut I haven't seen it as a juvenile, either)

Get on anti-anxiety meds. Or maybe some kind of therapy will do.

Water-sock feet is like some kind of debauched kinky shit you'd only try while drunk: It may feel good in the moment, but the consequences afterward never feel worth it. At least for me.

Points:

A gentle, fluid-rich crunch.

Leafy aroma.

A bit of fiber.

Folic acid.

Absolution of sin.

That guy's teeth seem big. Not individually, but collectively.

My experience followed the opposite sequence: I learned python in pursuit of a project.

I wanted to systematically identify comments in a certain awful subreddit that pinged users who commented in another subreddit to harass them. Having identified those comments, I could report them.

That would basically be a read-only reddit bot, and python seemed to be the standard for coding those. So I learned enough python (and enough of the praw package) to make that sort of thing happen.

In the end I lost interest and never finished it, but a few months later a much better project came to mind and persisted for the next ten months or so, passing through many topics including data tables, polygon stuff, map-coloring, and Google's KML format.

To answer your question, for me it was serendipity, but I suspect that it's viable to dedicate yourself to conceiving/choosing a project concept within a certain time frame and to proceed from there.

A bat was seen flying over the baseball feild today in broad daylight.

What, did it have rabies?

No, just splinters.
