Take of two plants. We had pumpkins and we had zucchini, the zucchini plant died without treating it, and our pumpkin plant barely made it, we got 4 pumpkins out of it before it was over run by SVBs.
Also fuck Japanese beetles. I keep kill jars close by with soapy water. I collect them daily.

I am the president of my HOA, we allow fences as long as they submit plans and the board approves.
Are there fences in your neighborhood already? If so, These neighbors have absolutely no recourse as long as you put the fence either on your property or on the line.
Make sure you know your property lines before hand and keep it handy.
Fucken Japanese beetles. Bane of my existence. I spend a few minutes every day picking them off and drowning them in soapy water. I did buy a trap for them which releases their pheromones. I think one bag had over 100 of these guys. So gross.
