One thing that hurts even more on this case is how DOGSHIT the damage formula is now, it's so fucking absurd that it makes it impossible for normal people to even be able to deduce what would be great at endgame.

Their descriptions as well are terrible, how the FUCK would I know that the high cal or active fire 10% damage is multiplicative and not additive? Why isn't there any indication IN GAME of it? Why do the crit damage skills actually boost double the value of what is shown on screen?

Gearbox also have yet to create a proper good endgame difficulty, the only games that are somewhat enjoyable are BL1 and TPS, the most simple ones, but there isn't anything to do on those games, BL2, BL3, Wonderlands and BL4 just have terrible systems, and all of them for different reasons. The only saving grace for 4's UVHM system is that the higher the difficulty, better the loot, but everything else sucks, since weapons don't have a UVHM level, the damage formula need to be this awful for you to be able to do any damage.

BL4 is beyond saving at this point for build variety, too many systems would need to be changed for it to get in a good place (UVHM scaling overhaul. complete overhaul and downsize of skill trees, damage formula overhaul, actual gear balance).
