And that Mountain Dew Kickstart commercial with the fireworks.

ITT: "That's completely uncalled for, Burgundy! You know those rating systems are flawed. They don't take in account houses that have...uh...more than two television sets...and...other things of that nature."

Seriously though, it looks fun until you realize you'd be surrounded by 90% people you hate.

And college dudes do dumb, smart, good, and bad shit all the time, Greek or not.

Hopefully Kerry Cooks, because that means our secondary got its shit together.

PJ3 and Lamb are more terrible than those others. Some criticism of Brooks is fair but neither one of those guys has any business playing on a playoff team.

Maybe not groundbreaking, but it was a pretty sharp commentary on the corporatization of sports. And it's hilarious.
golimo
That's meta. Like, the tribute band is kind of the actual band.
golimo
Shit, that's not something you'd do to someone you're a fan of!

Our alternates just remind me of 4-touchdown-plus losses to inferior programs from Texas. I'd rather they disappeared.

I think our inflatable wagon is bush league. And on top of that, now there's steam? What are we, the Aggies?

Circus music.

I fully support making obese people pay extra if they take up 2 seats. Short of that, the airlines would have to put scales at the airport, which wouldn't be good PR for the airlines.

Dammit! I always liked him.

Finally, someone with some sense.

I post this every time a thread like this comes up: Mickey Avalon opening for RHCP in 2007. Frusciante chewed us out for booing Mickey offstage, but the booing was well deserved.

Major League 2. How do you make a PG sequel to an R original?!?

I love this song because it's such a jarring change from the rest of the album (and the rest of their work). It sounds ripped from an old boombox, and the bassline is killer. The lyrics are kind of self-explanatory. Mankind behaves like some serial killers; well, here's the story of one.
(Isaac, if you're reading this, don't get discouraged by the polarizing views on the song--I hope you play it live a lot).
EDIT: I know the liner lyrics say "clean my pistol, no duh," but I still hear "load(ed) up"

And they can get that mobility with Hoveround!

I've been to a taping. That episode aired over 3 months later. I wonder if they told people to get there earlier than they usually do so they could tape live, or if they taped it like yesterday. Because whether it's 1 month or 3 months later, you would think that news would get out on social media.

"I feel bad about the bad things, and I feel good about the good things." -Dave Grohl
Seriously, people who get to the top hurt some feelings sometimes.

His only good years were when Blake Griffin was here. He had an assistant get us in NCAA trouble. He was an overrated recruiter, and his teams had no identity unless Blake Griffin was there.

Careful what you wish for!

I think you make great points. I didn't know who he was, but apparently enough people did, because those tweets got a good amount of RT's/favs. That is a good question: is it an act on Twitter? I think it probably depends on the comedian and situation. For example, the one about the Jewish kid and the German car (one I consider "hacky") probably never actually happened. It was almost certainly just a joke. Now, if he had said something like, "Standing in line for the subway. There are a lot of Jews here. Now I know it feels to be at Auschwitz," well, then you're getting more into the "is this an act" question.
My concern, overall, is not about the content of these tweets or this thing in a vacuum. My concern is about how it seems we have to address everyone whose feelings are hurt, and something that isn't a big deal suddenly becomes a big deal when the 24/7 media reports it. This, in the long run, hurts expression of all kinds and gives us more sterilized, calculated entertainment instead of allowing creative people the room to operate.
The thumbnail, viewed in my periph, looks like Bojack Horseman. Anyone else seeing this?
