Tho lens focal length and distortion might effect my assessment too a degree

RGB is cool, but also consider high CRI 90+ leds that have high quality light output closer to the sun’s spectral emission. You may find warm/cool colour variants or one with RGB in with the warm/cool diodes. Best of luck tho

Unless your build is balls-to-the-wall temperature limited, your PSU electronics don’t really mind the heat. The PSU fan has even traditionally been an exhaust fan for older designs.
