If you’ve only watched it recently, it’s likely you’ve seen the dreadful widescreen remaster, which is full of awful lighting and bad crops, and they somehow managed to make a lot of the special effects look awful.

I’ve still got my old DVDs with the original 4:3 version, and I much prefer watching those even though streaming is easier than swapping discs, lol.

Were you thinking of starting a new Discord server in addition to the official one for this sub? I’m asking because I think the existing one already has body doubling voice chats available, so you could be setting yourself up for a lot of work when the thing you want already exists?

I think someone else might have mentioned this, but it’s worth contacting the various providers for the gogledd classes, because it’s really common for people to drop out of courses – so there might be a space for you now.

While you’re correct, AFAIK none of those issues are actively bred for and outright celebrated like with Quarter Horses and Arabians, which I think makes it particularly egregious with those breeds.

Nice question! I didn’t get it, because I didn’t recognise enough of the clues to be able to put together the connection, but I really liked it.

Exactly! I paid privately for a full-body mole check last year because that’s not available on the NHS and I was advised to get checked regularly due to certain risk factors. I didn’t bother to contact my GP to tell them ‘Hey, just to let you know I don’t have melanoma’, because what’s the point?

Also, it’s a bit of a self selecting group: affordability aside, if you’re going to pay around £1000 for a diagnosis, you’re likely to have more severe symptoms and be desperate enough to take the financial risk. My guess is that those with more minor symptoms (which will include people less likely to have it) are less inclined to spend that kind of money if it’s not affecting them much.

Ooh, how’s Wurt the easiest? I suck at kiting so I tend to play Wigfrid or WX, so I can take more hits while I mindlessly bash away at whatever I’m fighting.

‘Free reign’ is the one that gets me, because even though it’s technically wrong and should be ‘free rein’, it does kind of make sense, so it’s understandable when people write it.

‘Reign it in’ though, not so much

I’ve managed a handful of 5-pointers over the years, although with most of them I would’ve waited for at least one more clue if I was actually on the show. It’s definitely a lot easier to take the risk when you’re watching at home!

The only two sequence ones I can currently remember (and would’ve been relatively confident enough to buzz in on) had the first clues of ‘Generations’; and ‘Sensational’.
