It’s one of the stories they’ll remember when you all get together to reminisce one day, OP. ❤️

Vapor lock. Perfect! Adding to the vernacular.

Most hotels have a 3pm check in time, and that’s if they have the room ready.

I’ll note that having worked with a couple of zoo animals over the years, meat eaters smell AWFUL. Never been around a big cat, but birds of prey are some of the worst offenders.

Please do!

Good timing! I have a couple of pieces too nice to be donated but I wasn’t sure what to do with them.

IMO, Portland is a much easier city to manage than Seattle. Even though traffic isn’t great, it’s way better than Seattle, smaller population and urban growth boundary, too. I find Seattle overwhelming. And I lived in Dallas for many years. It’s fun to visit, but I would not want to live there. Also see, ‘Seattle
Freeze’.

When I shopped for plastic surgeons, I only looked at board certified specialists. It was advice I was given multiple times and I felt really confident in my decision after doing consults with my final three. I ended up going to Dr. Petroff for an amazing rhinoplasty/chin implant. I have always been incredibly happy with the results (20 years now) and my overall experience. I would put Petroff Surgical Center on your list.

And they’ve hyper inflated the purchase price of 2.5+ practices so much, that individual vets struggle to buy them. A local vet went corporate- there were two of the practicing vets there that wanted to buy it. It came in at 4x the expectation/valuation they could get financing for.

You need a clinic that will allow this as a tech appointment. It’s ridiculous to pay for a doctor visit on a monthly injection. This may be a corporate policy, but it’s not typical, in my experience.
hafree27
This. OP, this clinic is acting well outside the boundaries most clinics give to new grads. This is wholly untenable and, imo, abusive.
hafree27
There were so many people who questioned it, the local folks checked the surname and confirmed it happened. 😂

Good bot.

You’ll definitely want to rent a car for a day or two! And I HIGHLY recommend using said car to see the coast and the Gorge, if possible. And talk to the front desk- they may have a discount arrangement or suggestions for a parking garage close by. Enjoy your visit! 🧡❤️

Honestly, $199 a year for same day appointments and easy lab access/referrals is very worth it for me.
I know not everyone has the option, but that’s cheap for concierge-adjacent care.
hafree27
Most GP vets will absolutely do both. Do you need to go to a dental specialist for some reason? If not, let me know what area you’re in and I’ll try to give specific recommendations.
hafree27
I had to switch to the pill. ☹️ I was waaayyyyyy too miserable to wait out the supply chain.

Anecdotally, things shift after OG owner leaves, rarely much while they’re still involved.

I just read the link and they’ve updated that the jumper has died and the fate of the tiger is unknown.

Thank you for the laugh snort so early in my day. ❤️

That was pretty much my exact expression. We were also in a uber wealthy area of Dallas, so that added a layer.

I once had an older coworker (this was in the early 90s), pluck one of her hairs and use it to floss. During a meeting. 0/5⭐️, do not recommend.

Gen Xer, here. I also had Jojos when I was a kid in the south. Not specifically a PNW thing.

Care to elaborate? I’ve always wondered about him…
Stitch! But you just made me smile after a pretty rough day. Thank you very much!
