I got a colt not long ago and also gave it the wilson treatment. I changed pretty much everything, except I put a Nighthawk hammer, trigger, sear and disconnector in it.

I just had that break on my 2008 and got a kit from advance auto for about 15 bucks. It comes with a couple terminals. I actually bought it for our Honda, and the jeep broke about a week later, so I already had the kit.

I don't have much to compare against but im super happy with my two Nighthawks.

I like the chevron to use the tip for precise aiming. I don't have the range to shoot longer distances, so haven't experienced the issue that the other guy mentioned. The red chevron is usually what Palmetto has on sale.
halfcocked1
Nice. I have a tan and green one but think the Grey is the best looking of the lot.
halfcocked1
I like the ACOG and just bought another then Palmetto had them on sale for 899 for the TA31 4x32.
halfcocked1
Palmetto has specials sometimes, I got one a couple months back for $899 with the mount (TA31 4x32)

I wear a tank top since I overheat easy and sweat way more if I wear a normal t-shirt. I don't have much to show off. You're probably right in many cases though.

My guess is that's their quick fix to not need to use a different selector than a FA model. If you used a FRT, I'd guess you'd need to cut or grind that down a little to allow the selector to travel more. Most AKs have that as a stop, but the Yugo does look a little longer than average.
halfcocked1
I'm confused. If you just changed them and drove 80 miles, why did you pull it apart again?
halfcocked1
I had a Glock 17 with an obnoxious frame mount on it. Up top was an Aimpoint 2000 in silver.
halfcocked1
Since they aim with their foreheads, I'd probably giggle a little.
halfcocked1
I'm no expert but one of my local dealers is a dealer for them. I think they are more a BBQ gun. The prices are more than most can/want to spend for a shooter, so they fly under the radar of most of the shooter groups.
halfcocked1
It's already like that, in at least PA. As the gross weight goes up, the cost goes up.
halfcocked1
I like the tip of the chevron to make more precise shots. Everyone is different though.
halfcocked1
Not sure what part of the US, but the F150 frames can rot out in the rust belt.
halfcocked1
I wouldn't pay that for that. You have to look at the opportunity costs of what else you could buy for that...For that amount, I saw a Russian Tiger SVD sell for 5k the other day (just missing a scope), you can buy a preban FN FAL para, for less you can buy a polytech legend, SIG P90/550, etc, etc.
halfcocked1
Well there isn't currently a choice in that, but would you contribute if it was voluntary?
halfcocked1
OK, I'll rephrase to much less contribution. School taxes are a couple grand a year +/- depending on many factors. I believe the child tax credit is 1000/kid. As a parent, you need larger house, food bill (3 teenagers eat like vacuum cleaners), car insurance, contribute toward cars and repairs, school clothes/shoes, extra doctor bills, braces, glasses/contacts, $ for dates, tux rentals for prom, dresses for proms, etc etc., hair appointments, after school activities, plus pay the school taxes and taxes for low income kids.
halfcocked1
To give other people the same chance of opportunities you had. Hopefully one generation will decide to make the world a better place.
halfcocked1
I think not having kids is selfish. It's an enormous amount of financial, emotional, social, career, etc sacrifice to keep the species moving forward by having kids. If you don't have kids, you have the benefit of living your life how you want, get the benefit of society, but don't contribute to ensuring that it continues. You get to keep your money for yourself and have all your time to do what you want.
halfcocked1
Shoot at 25 and verify at longer if/when you can. That's what I did and had to make some windage adjustments at longer
halfcocked1
My sister and I are polar opposites. You just have to enjoy each other for the people you are and avoid political discussions. They need to have mutual respect though and not throw it in your face either. That would make it difficult. If they do talk politics and you don't like it, you can bring up that you don't like to talk politics. If they can't respect that, then you might have to limit your time around them.

I haven't had that situation come up, but I'd probably look at it as the total group with the total shear perimeter, else look at one with a reduced area of one. I'd visualize it similar to a cast-in anchor group in concrete, where you have overlapping shear breakout cones, so the group of anchors has more capacity than one, but each individual one has less capacity than a single one..
Milled Mak90s often (but not always) have a slant cut (underfolder shape) rear receiver, so makes putting a regular stock on it difficult, so keep that in mind. The best bank for the buck would be a Bulgarian made Arsenal SA93 or SLR95. They were imported with thumbhole stocks and no lower stock tang in the 90s. The lower tang can be added the right way, or with my SA93, I drilled a hole in the end of the stock. Then I used a lag bolt with fender washer to bolt it in from inside the receiver. The top stock tang can still be screwed in place, so it'll look normal. The two I mentioned can be found on gunbroker usually about 1k. Quickest/easiest option would be a newer used Arsenal.
