Yes you could - start with the suggested serving size of 5g/daily. Youre going to see lots of conflicting input around this supplement, but 5g daily is the general rule to avoid stomach upset (not always a symptom, sometimes is a symptom).

halibot

Yes I have made that clear. Exercise use, 5g prior. I have read the research for loading and brain function especially for TBI. Like any study, peer review and further research will ultimately paint a full picture.

The main benefit is to provide phosphocreatine to product ATP (energy) for your workout. While there is research for other uses showing benefits for brain, muscle, etc, for exercise benefits specifically you would want to use it prior to working out.

halibot

Pretty massive conflicts of interests associated with that study plus theyre just using data from previous studies. Look, bottom line there will be further studies to show potential benefits, but the current guidance stands. Im relaying the current tested guidance. Up to you if you want to do otherwise.

There's lots of evidence in physiology research. Currently studying it for my grad program and we just did a presentation on it for exercise use.

halibot

There are lots of studies being conducted on it and lots that have been completed. I suggest taking the time to look into them for not only positive results but also negative results. The current guidance is 5g per serving an hour before exercise for exercise benefits. There may be more benefits at higher dosages, but it is well documented that it causes stomach upset and flushes through urine.

halibot

Physiologically, no. But you do you.

halibot

12g at once is excessive but splitting it before activity is a great plan. 5g about an hour before activity is the current suggestion.

halibot

Correct. If youre doing multiple workouts or high energy activities throughout the day, taking 5g before each will be utilized.

halibot

That much is not necessary and the majority is flushing through urine. Your skeletal muscles can only hold so much phosphocreatine, and the rest cycles out. The current standard is 5g/day, and Alternatively you can pre-load for a week with high levels to get max absorption but then drop to 5g after. Otherwise youre just wasting product.

halibot

Yes that aligns with the extra energy, as it takes longer for lactate to begin developing as long as there is phosphocreatine available for ATP production. Once that runs out, the body switches to carb fuel. Lactate forms once the oxygen demand cant keep up with supply, which is where the muscle burning and fatigue comes in.

halibot

For the stomach upset specifically, yes. The skeletal muscle can only hold so much so the extra is moved throughout until it flushes out through urine.

halibot

Yes, thank you, I'll update my comment

halibot

Nice, yes some people dont report it at all even when loading - 23-30g a day for about a week will get you max creatine tolerance and then you can drop to 5g/day indefinitely. Once you are at tolerance all you need is 5g/day, the rest flushes out in urine.

halibot

Only take 5g per day, more can cause stomach upset

In the 80s, my parents lived behind a cow farm and my uncle and dad used to trip off the mushrooms they found in the patties. Trip carefully my friend!

Bud you make no sense. Look, if you dont feel compelled to protest, dont. If you do, then do it. Apparently what you NEED to feel compelled to do it just shut the fuck up instead of arguing points that make no fucking sense.

Don't forget his post comments in r/sluts. Sad, stupid little man can't even use a burner for his sad little kicks.

OPs profile is full of knife pics held by his baby soft hands, and commenting on the r/sluts sub. All of these things are related to why you sir, are a sad, unfuckable man. Best of luck in your attempt to prove your superiority to anyone.

Mainly because she was touting it as a huge step for feminism and women in stem when in reality, it was a very expensive amusement ride that did nothing for space science or women's right. It's also in poor taste when womens rights are being challenged here in the US, and a slap to all women working at NASA who's accomplishment are being removed or being fired due to DEI erasure.

Not to mention the cost of the trip and the effects on the environment are sickening as Americans face recession, tariffs, and the removal of funding for social services.
