I always assumed they were all basically dollar stores bc I had never been in one. I ran out of milk and went to a Family Dollar and I was surprised how pricey it was. It looked like it was pretty bombed out, had weird selection of stuff, and somehow, the milk was about 2x as much as at the bougie, up scale, local supermarket chain.

Like others have said, they usually come out about a month before the season but just FYI, sometimes teams don't have their main sponsor lined up at the beginning of the year and if they don't, they'll sell their shirt without a primary sponsor and then once they get one later, the later shirts for the season will ship with the primary sponsor printed on it.

Depending on preference, some people like the no sponsor kits better and some don't. I don't follow the Summit and if they are in the middle of a 4 year deal then this is moot for them but just something kind of cool that comes up from time to time.

I have a Chelsea kit without a main sponsor which I like better but I also really like my Seattle kits from when we were sponsored by Black Future Fund partly because of their sponsorship. I like Trupanion as a sponsor but kind of wish I had one of our Rise kits that was main sponsor free bc the design is so cool.

That's not unique to NWSL but just a quirk of the jersey world in case you're newer to footy in general. You guys have had good jerseys so far so I would assume they would be good with or without a headline sponsor.

I worry that Emma will learn the wrong lessons from this... that's we can have a bad game plan for 70 min and then have 20 min of hustle at the end. That's not a recipe for sustained success.

I don't love the subs with only 12-14 min left right now. It's barely any time to get comfortable or get going.

Box fans running in the room or in the windows?

Running box fans in the room will do nothing to cool the room (can add a tiny amount heat).

Running box fans in the windows to draw air in or out will help cool the room if it's cooler outside than it is inside.

The other key missing detail... how long have you lived in the house? Is this your first warm season in the house?

I get Lily with her system bc even though she has weakness to her game, her ball playing ability is elite and she can play quick.

Heaps though... it's so weird. She's slow, positionally undisciplined, and sucks any and all momentum.

They are usually pretty foul happy. They talk a big game about playing pretty and they do when they are have the ball but they wouldn't hesitate to clear out your grandmother to get the ball back.

There's no fixed amount for friendlies. The coaching staffs would have agreed on a set number beforehand but it could be anything.

Once they start making subs, the usually they say what the number of allowed subs will be.

I think she thinks she's Messi. Lots of standing and walking but a lot less scoring than him.
