Yeah. But the Mustang paid the price for it this season because its, nearly utterly useless. The work it takes to reach pace is crazy compared to hopping in another car and be faster after 3 or 4 laps...
haschcookie
Yeah. When i see a chance to hear the "bonk" i go in. STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKS!
haschcookie
PoV car was never close enough to claim about a block...?
PoV car went to far outside when overtaking you, basically forcing you offtrack or in this case binning themselves - while you hold the outside line
Result: Frustration about own lack of skill and blaming everything that happens on others
The report thing...good luck for him. I doubt that will be successful :D

Example 2 is hard to define without a track layout - but yes i agree with you there, connected multiple corners are something different. I am not sure wether its possible to summarize those cases at all?
I suppose you have to split those cases into corner by corner checks and relative car positions to define which move is reactionary and which is pro-active defending.
My words go towards the example and clip posted- 1 corner + 1 straight. In that case, multiple moves are 99% reactionary.
Funnily enough, people still weave like mad sometimes...and bin themselves because they hit the front the other car behind.
haschcookie
More then 1 move is 99% reactionary because why would one move left and right multiple times without reacting to movement of another car? It´s unnatural - only to break the slipstream but even then it can be considered reckless because the person in front provoces to yeet themselves about the front of the car behind.
That would count under the Code of Conduct - in my eyes at least.
haschcookie
He made one move and left enough space. Totally fine in my eyes since he didnt cut back when you switch back to the left side.

Lulus Slow with her Q...and in addition, Frozen Mallet slow on Auto Attacks...people could only flash on you to kill you. Nearly nobody could catch you on lane.
When i had to play top and people played Garen, Darius etc...fairy power of slow in their face :") :D
haschcookie
Good old Frozen Mallet toplane Lulu...the terror of melees without gapclosing :")

Best example is NEC. Top half of TCR is fighting the bottom half of GT4 because they are faster - but get blocked by the GT4s on the tight track. Unless the slower GT4 lets the TCR pass, its brutal to drive a TCR there because you lose time - and cant overtake a GT4 normally on the track (unless you force your way through at hard braking zones)
haschcookie
Slightly earlier breaking points with lower peaks of breakforce can help with that in combination with a more gentle throttle application, depending on the TC setting. When you say its a lap1 issue - maybe they just get the heat in the tyre way better then you?
haschcookie
You see this in the NEC quite often. The top TCRs have to battle themselves through the back markers of the GT4s cause they are just faster.
Problem is, that most GT4s refuse to acknowledge that. Results in some annoying situations sometimes.

One DTM Brands Hatch race had insane conditions. Strong rain in practice. Quali was wet but no rain, race start was wet, no rain. Everyone tried to stay out as long as possible on wet tyres (unless two people who tried to start on drys to end in the wall) until the track was dry enough and nobody wanted to take risks.
Switching to drys was required - but 5 or 6 Laps before the end the rain started again. The decision to stay out or switch again shuffled the whole field (in hindsight: switching back was faster cause the rain got stronger and stronger).
Never had such a nervewracking but stupidy fun race!
haschcookie
"Forseeable future"...yeah. Which means in two weeks he can go at it again because people are over it. So much for consequences...
haschcookie
That one woman in the cave (i think it was the ghost market?) with the stupid small arena and bleed effect was terror with her nearly same looking combo and different delayed in between attacks.
haschcookie
Dirty? For what? Driving while using your braincells?
I would bite my wheel sitting behind you there. But that was clean defensive driving and overtaking him again. Mistakes happen in such fights, i wouldnt be too worried about it. The last one...i think its way more on him? He moves under breaking to cross and block your line. He trapped himself there, and saw/realized the situation way too late.
haschcookie
Will be a hard choice between Mustang and the GR then -_-
haschcookie
Yeah, i just mixed up left and right for whatever reason. Brain shut off when i posted that.
haschcookie
Yeah...i totally fucked up left and right in my brain at that post. Jesus..i am stupid sometimes
haschcookie
What? Which cars have break on the right foot? O.o
haschcookie
From what i see watching people racing in TCR....thats a wreckfest on quite a lot of tracks...
haschcookie
I dont think they will miss the chance with the GR GT3 - its simply the most driven class.
The bigger question is propably - when. Its planned that it will start in the Daytona24 next year.
haschcookie
Exactly that. I had a share of 140 Laps in the 24h Spa. I had one mistake in those 100% pushing situations which basically didnt matter at the end, but 90% of the time i was cruising 4tenths of my best time.
Still...i got murdered once on those 140 laps cause i couldnt dodge someone who thought its smart to late dive into No Name.
Endurances races are a 90% fight for survival - and 10% pushing for pace when it matters while not throwing away the car.
haschcookie
Its basically getting into a groove/mode - sitting comfy and having something to drink/snack directly next to you.
You dont drive 3-4 hours at full pace mode. You go at 90% of the pace, being safe without mistakes for roughly 90% of the time. The other 10% you go into a "pushing" mode, to win a position, make up time for pit strategy etc. Since this is the exhausting part, you have to be careful how to use it.
Its similar to fuel. You need to learn to manage your own fuel consumption for this. It doesnt simply come by.
Plus, learning it with faster cars is incredibly harder then for example a GR86 or a GT4.
PCC Endurance is very good to practice it with the GR86. The car is easy enough that it does not strain you too much, still requires finesse to be fast.
Afterwards GT4 Endu is a good step.
NEC would be another one - but the NOS is way harder. 60min of NOS feel similar to ~120min of Spa for example. I would go for the NEC with one teammate to be able to switch out when you realize, you reach the limit. Plus - drive TCR to begin with it, since they are way easier to handle over time then the RWD cars.

No clue about Discord, but you can contact people on TradingPaints directly if you like their work.
I had a costum made for the Mustang from:

Not really sure wether the breakpoint is similar to iRacing...but it looks like the blue Mustang totally missed it. Doubt he could have gotten the corner without using you to slow down.
