It was The Bob Emergency for me as well. Someone linked to it in a Reddit thread and I didn't check how long it was and had absolutely no idea how much time had passed by the time it was over

honkinggr8namespaces

It's not but we do have Imagine

tracy chapman if she was korean: you got a fast train

honkinggr8namespaces

the. you mean. you mean eminem??

Childish Gambino comes to mind first for me. Went from his silly first two albums playing a kinda douchey character to Redbone and This is America

honkinggr8namespaces

Literally how else would you pronounce it

honkinggr8namespaces

I wish Messy had gotten more than a passing mention too, it's maybe my favourite pop song of the decade so far

18 bays is not unreasonable for this station, the 407 buses are a major east-west transit artery and it's also a hub for YRT buses. This station was built in a greenfield hydro corridor next to a highway so it wasn't prohibitively expensive to build and there wasn't much of anything else that could have gone there instead

Not York University, the former borough of York https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/York,_Ontario

honkinggr8namespaces

Weston is in York, you're thinking of Wilson

honkinggr8namespaces

It's connected to the UP Express, a frequent regional rail line. There are also plans for line 5 to possibly terminate there eventually

honkinggr8namespaces

Nah that would never work, sounds like too much of a hassle

honkinggr8namespaces

Seems like there's a lot of disagreement here. What if there was some sort of compromise solution that meant we could have both long summer evenings and morning sunlight in the winter

honkinggr8namespaces

Toronto too, and Montreal after the REM opens

Love this song. Really cool artwork, how'd you make it? I love the style

Also if you educate yourself and go investigate all the bollards installed around the city, you may be surprised to see how many are damaged from being hit by vehicles.

...doesn't that mean they're doing their jobs?

honkinggr8namespaces

haha I remember riding this one. not even that long ago, I'm in my early 20s

honkinggr8namespaces

why is this map sideways :(

I don't think the original plan was to shut down line 3 before the line 2 extension opened. There would have been no need for that, they're on completely different alignments and don't interfere at all with each other.

The only project that Line 3 interfered with was the expansion of the GO Stouffville Line - the elevated viaduct was getting in the way of expanding one of the GO platforms at Kennedy.

the "face recognition thing" is actually just an ambient light sensor to adjust screen brightness automatically, i think

honkinggr8namespaces

No it won't, nobody's cancelling two 99% built lines

honkinggr8namespaces

Yeah I keep getting IG ads for their new location at Westmount and Fischer Hallman. I'd be surprised if they shut down so soon after that
