Well people use it as an excuse to be evil all the time. It allows people to avoid accountability in the name of god. This study and Trump’s “holy war” in Iran are great examples

Very true, but in my case my brain fog tends to get worse as my body detoxes. Scattered thoughts, disorganized thinking, inability to control emotions, and impulse control all get worse after the 3 week mark. Not sure why my body works this way.

For some people, three months without something that helps manage their symptoms can seriously harm their quality of life. Cannabis works for me, and my experience both before trying it and during tolerance breaks suggests I function better with it than without it.

Most research I’ve seen suggests cognitive effects tend to return to baseline within about 2–6 weeks for many people. If there’s research supporting a universal 3-month reset, I’d be interested in seeing it, because I haven’t gone that long without cannabis since starting my use. Otherwise we’re mostly comparing anecdote to anecdote

I use marijuana habitually most nights as a person with ADHD. When i have to take a break for drug tests or tolerance, etc. i end up with much worse brain fog, even weeks out, compared to when I’m regularly smoking to self regulate.
