Thank you. I’m good with the kind part, but the firm part is quite soft sometimes. lol.  I really hopes she understands, but I know she’ll be disappointed.

iFallDownOften

Thank you. It’s true. I totally want to do this solo & I just have to be honest with her.

iFallDownOften

That’s a good idea. Thank you. I just know how co-dependent she is and I think she’d book the same stuff I did, so we could do it “together.”

iFallDownOften

Thanks. I explained it to her just like I did here, & she called me a bad friend. I think that’s what bothered me. I value my friendships & it made me question myself & my actions towards her.  As in, was I being selfish in not going with her? Kinda, but it’s just a bathroom break. I guess I  just don’t understand why she’s so mad about it & flipping the script like I’m the problem.  At the root, my feelings are hurt by her behaviors yet when I try to talk about it, she gets angry & storms away without accountability.  Her anger has made me feel like the bad guy, so that’s why I wanted some outside perspectives.

iFallDownOften

Exactly what I thought. Thanks.

iFallDownOften

Thanks for validating what I was feeling.

Thank you.  And you’re correct. We had assigned seats & this was not the bras thrown on stage kind of a show. Nor was she that sloppy Vegas mess that we’ve all been at one point in our lives where we need help to the toilet. lol.

I’ve traveled with C about 6 times before this & just realized I very much went along for the ride on those trips. With only requesting one or two things, and being very pliable to her asks.  This past trip was the first time I already had plans, tickets, reservations in place with someone else. I didn’t think it was fair to A to have to change things to appease C. That was their first time traveling together and probably their last. lol.

I’m going to have to reevaluate some more of our interactions.

Thanks. I feel that.  A & I talked about the whole thing once we got home & she feels the same way. We didn’t like C’s behavior & at times, I felt embarrassed by it.  But C’s made it out like I’m a bad friend & I guess the emotional manipulation is just getting to me.

iFallDownOften

Right? Same here! Sneezes are the enemy. lol.

OMG. OP, your wife needs a reality check & so do you. She is clearly in denial about her spending habits & you are clearly in denial about enabling her behavior. Yes, she is entitled to use her money however she sees fit. However, when that spending affects the household bills, a discussion needed to happen BEFORE you needed a second bedroom JUST for her wardrobe. You married someone who has no control over their spending. You both need therapy. Make that suggestion to your wife as a condition of house hunting. Yes, you are a team, but she’s not acting like it by spending all her money on herself, and not the team.

iFallDownOften

NTA. And I’m sorry OP, but the best situation is just to go no contact.

iFallDownOften

NTA. Block her.

iFallDownOften

LOL. Great job!! NTA

iFallDownOften

NTA. Great job as a husband.

I would’ve thrown you AND the other bridesmaid out of the wedding. FUCK YOU for trying to ruin your “friend’s” wedding. YTA & a completely narcissistic cnt.

JESUS FNING CHRIST!!!

WTF is WRONG with you?!?!

if I were your wife, I’d already be filing divorce papers. Whatever misogynistic bullshit you have going on, your wife deserves no part of it.

Let her have her baby in peace, and enjoy the co parenting that’s in your future.

YTA!!!
