Thanks!

Thank you!!!

I’ll see if I can drum up actual transcripts to show where it went wrong, but 2 examples:

- dark pixels around the nose/smile in far shots kept being added and it was basically the LLM trying to interpret an under-nose shadow when it really just made the aesthetic worse (eg a smile that touches the perimeter of the face).

- hands - I made several small edits to where finger outlines looked like they should go

“Any new distortion, blind spots, or changes in vision…”

While I think what you’ve built is great, for me (and my vision woes) what I’d really love to be able to do is use my finger to essentially finger-paint where the bad areas are. Then the app can be smart enough to detect issues as where I paint changes.

I might be alone in this, and maybe I’ll just build it heh. But I have a big NCV scar and multiple areas of blurred/missing spots. More than once I’ve gone in for what I thought was worsening vision and it turned out to be stable.

That’s the Rat Thing from Snow Crash

This has bothered me forever (I would have been in 5th grade the year it “stopped”). Still mad my neighbor got to go and not me. Thanks for connecting the dots inadvertently for me lol

I built www.stoodious.app specifically for my wife to pass the CA Broker Exam (she did) because I thought it was insane that the textbook pricing was so high, and sites/apps were impossible to use on the phone.

iOSbrogrammer

Ahh that's tough. I built www.stoodious.app with a feature that might help you based on your methodology (specifically study what you didn't do so great at on the real exam). If you want to see what I mean, try a sample study section and then each subsection has 20+ practice questions specific to that section, helping you build confidence within that narrow scope.

Good luck! I didn't take the NC test, but built a site to help my wife pass her CA exam. The biggest help she found while studying was being able to answer practice questions related to the areas she felt less sure about.

So if you have study materials already/practice exam sources, I'd probably lean on a methodology like that. Sometimes the practice exams are just really long and if you know a lot of the material already, then that can kind of be detrimental to helping you level up on the sections you feel less confident in.

Shameless plug, but I built https://www.stoodious.app to help my wife study for her exam and then expanded to all states. Each section allows you to drill practice questions specifically for that section, which may be what you're looking for. It's $5 and I totally understand not wanting to pay for another tool now that you're so close to the finish line. So if you already have some study materials, I'd just lean on those existing ones with an eye towards becoming more confident in the sections you feel you need help with.

iOSbrogrammer

Yikes... If you want to give something I built a try, consider https://www.stoodious.app. Right now it's $5 for practice tests, study materials, a printable PDF of all content, and per-section practice questions to help you test how ready you are on the content you're actively studying.

El Matatan. Great tequila, amazing dishes. It’s one place I could never grow tired of.

iOSbrogrammer

If you know what areas you are struggling with, I would try www.stoodious.app. You can focus on just the sections you missed, and take practice questions just for those sections (or brush up on key terms and concepts from those sections too). You can try it out for free, but all sections is $5. If it matches how you like to study, I think it’s well worth the price.

Did any of the prescribers check your eye pressure? This reads like glaucoma (what I personally noticed after taking steroid eye drops and learning that I’m a steroid responder — increases intraocular pressure). Look up tonometers and you’ll remember if they used something like that during the visit.

$3 weekdays, $5 weekends and holidays - great deal for a spot you can hang all day at. Especially if you have kids - you can kill an entire day there at the zoo, get some fries, take a pedal boat or bike out, set up a picnic.

iOSbrogrammer

Hmm it does go over everything. I’m guessing you’re on mobile - tap the button in the top left to see all sections represented on the CA exam

iOSbrogrammer

Did you try the site out? You can use the side bar (open left drawer on mobile) to choose one of the several dozen sections of the site. The first section and its subsections are free and you get access to all for $5

iOSbrogrammer

If you know what you need to work on, you can try the site I built for my wife to pass: www.stoodious.app. It’s $5 but lets you drill practice questions, and read up on key terms/concepts specific to the sections you missed vs taking entire practice exams all over again.

I saw Ravello open in LA and he was better than the headliner by a mile. If you had to pick the first show it wouldn’t be a dud because of him. I want to catch him do an hour sometime - he killed.

iOSbrogrammer

Saw him at Irvine Improv in 2017 for like $20 on a whim and you could tell then that he’d be near the top soon enough. He’s good at standup.

iOSbrogrammer

Yep! It’s still current!

iOSbrogrammer

Been there before. I ended up in a great spot that was ultimately a better career jumping off point, made great new friends, best manager I’ve ever had, etc. Your worries are warranted but I think it’s still worth the shot, especially for “life changing” financials.

This is actually a major problem in avalanches - the innate sense of “up” isn’t really reliable in that situation in practice it turns out.
