i’m not one of the people crazy upset abt it but from what i’ve gathered, since they used to embrace satanist (oops meant satanism*) it brought in a lot of people who identify as witches and supported them on their rise to fame, so now for them to turn around and say fuck you don’t come around me, it’s offensive to them. i don’t really appreciate the religious sermon i got at the end of greyday this year but eh what can ya do, i just won’t go next year.

the answer is yes at any place where people are working customer service. i’ve avoided specific customers many times.

study and practice, & try not to get overwhelmed just work drink by drink. i know that’s easier said than done in a rush, but just do your best! they aren’t kicking you off because they’re mad at you, they just want to help and get the customers through quickly. they don’t expect u to be perfect on your first shifts. but once again, if you want to pass the test please study a lot because there are tricky worded questions about sf syrups and scoop amounts.

they said they can’t quit right now because they need the money. asking won’t always get the wanted results, but closed mouths don’t get fed.

if you don’t put your foot down they will walk all over you. start with talking to the manager abt your schedule and make it clear you have school and no means of transportation. then when it comes to breaks, talk to your supervisor who is causing the issue and if a resolution isn’t reached you can bring your manager in. if your manager isn’t helpful at all after talking, you can go even further to the district manager to see if they’re able to support you. again though, if you don’t put your foot down they will take advantage of you as much as possible.

this was what my location was like and i just quit because leadership unfortunately didn’t care, they were all bullies.
