I make my own liver cake treats and have done for around 3 years. I use the recipe which can be found here - Liver Cake For Dogs - Liana's Kitchen ##warning## this stuff is like crack cocaine for dogs, when we goto dog meet ups other dogs are right in about to my pocket if I'm carrying it.

Not had a problems at all with my 10kg cavapoo.

Using as per recipe 400g of liver the cake after cutting up will last about 2-3 weeks after freezing, we just defrost enough to last him a few days at a time.

At the time I was working in a warehouse for a company supplying steel tubing to customers all over the world.

Problem: The guys packing the tubing into crates were just eyeballing the size of crate needed resulting in massive over estimates and the customer then paying to transport basically air in crates since freight is generally charged by volumetric.

Solutions: Created a worksheet where the dimeter, wall thickness and length of the order is entered and it would calculate how big a crate would be required. It even allowed for the fact that tubes sitting on top of each other never sit perfectly and fall into the dips, it also used the density of the metal to calculate the nett weight.

Now crates have at most a 1cm gap in the top resulting in savings to the customer and looks a lot more professional when the customer opens the crate. This was done over 12 years ago and is still used by the company.

People now regard me as bit of a guru in excel but when I tell them if everything you could know in excel was equal to 100cm measuring stick, my knowledge would barely get past 5mm on that stick, they sometimes take offense as it would imply there knowledge is even less which is not what I'm trying to point out to them.

Hmm after reading a bit more into it I do realize that the depth of my progression is miniscule in comparison to the the games range.

Raiding in World of warcraft for years kinda makes you come at it in a very min/maxing attitude, but I think I'll just approach it with the more casual attitude.
