Can’t criticise Steidten signings. I think we’re still expecting Todibo to be “world class”

Bowen will get the ball more because he’s our best player by a country mile and Nuno is pragmatic enough to recognise that that’s more important than any system he might prefer to play

It’s good to have a manager again that cares more about winning than “principles” and “systems”. That combined with the quality of some individuals in the team is more than enough to stay up despite the relative strength of the teams that came up this year

There must be more to it than that to not even have him travel with the squad. I highly doubt he thinks JWP offers less than Irving for example

Grealish currently has the most assists in the league and has openly spoken about how much he’s enjoying playing under Moyes. Why are some of our fans so desperate to act like Moyes is a bad manager? Can’t you just be happy with the miraculous job he did for us, accept it was time to part ways, and stop disrespecting him for no reason?

The last season + handful of games was a taster of the trajectory we were travelling down before Moyes stepped in (twice). We’ve now hopefully lucked out in bringing in a manager who’s very similar to Moyes (will Nuno wreck what’s left of Bowen’s career, do you think?) and have cause for optimism again. That optimism wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for Moyes because we’d be languishing in the championship right now most likely

Still crying about Moyes 2 years after being proven wrong. Moyes is in our top 3 greatest managers ever and it was wrong to let him go even after some bad form (we finished 9th). That was obvious to anyone with a brain at the time given who owns the club.

We generally have about 2 players on the pitch capable of winning a header. It was 1 for most of yesterday since Soucek is suspended. Plus neither of our keepers can claim a cross. No set piece “tactics” can get around those facts and they are what we need to rectify first
