Imagine not using the calculator when it was released. You’re only hurting yourself in the long run.

Right now, you have an advantage because you know how to write code and deliver features. AI doesn’t know how to do that and the people using ai don’t have those same skills…. yet.

by the time you realize your mistake it’s going to be too late. grow up and remember your “friend group” isn’t paying your bills.

they had a special edition accord that came in purple. it was beautiful

interactionjackson

i want to thank the 1996 honda accord special edition for coming in that sexy purple color

no money on this. farmers are operating on thin margins and the big corps have their own tech

interactionjackson

do fertigation. you’d make money developing the initial system and have a subscription revenue with the nutrients. your system should auto replenish (purchase) nutrients.

interactionjackson

What a stupid comment. You gun-lovers have constitutional carry and still need the police to keep you safe?

interactionjackson

they are in your hardware so i presume they have your backups too. this discussion is so typical.

interactionjackson

you’re not that interesting. besides you walk around with a tracking device in your pocket that gives then that information and more.

interactionjackson

if you’re doing something that needs privacy you should probably not be outside.

what are you doing outside that you need privacy?

i didn’t say don’t participate. i said don’t expect to have privacy when you are in public.

“public”

interactionjackson

did that make you feel better? now that you’re not in your feeling anymore let me know if i should be able to record my own child in public? and should we ask others at the park to make sure their kid stays out of my camera shot? where does your privacy end and my right to capture videos of my child begin?

you guys are blowing this way out of proportion. this is no different than a cell phone. if you see someone being weird around you ask them kindly to leave but under no circumstance are you given any expectation of privacy. if you need privacy you probably shouldn’t be outside

interactionjackson

there is no law that supports your claim and saying “you’re wrong” is childish and has no effect on reality.

interactionjackson

no you don’t. you are in public and there is no way to determine where your privacy should start and end. that’s why it’s not given. should you be able to walk around naked? how much privacy are you expected?

being watched is a part of being in public.

interactionjackson

definitely not. if you don’t like it go inside

interactionjackson

you don’t need that feature if it means violating my privacy /s

interactionjackson

because facial recognition has never been wrong before…. right?

interactionjackson

not when you are in public.

interactionjackson

the data is gone in any event. sure it’s still encrypted but possessing the data is needed to be able to decrypt it. you might think it’s worth mentioning but really it’s not relevant. security folks are all the same. big ta do about nothing

interactionjackson

they do and you’re having trouble accepting that and you’ve resorted to ad hominem. gg.

interactionjackson

you can’t wrap your head around the idea that the corporation represent the workers. it’s not hard to understand once you look at it from that perspective. the government even said they are people

interactionjackson

just because you don’t benefit doesn’t mean it’s not socialism.

interactionjackson

just because you don’t benefit doesn’t mean it’s not socialism. we are not the workers. shareholders are. corporations via their shareholders do own the means of production. they also have control of the government. and they use our tax payer dollars to help themselves all the time since 2008.

interactionjackson

cute, you still think humans can own the “means of production”

interactionjackson

welfare is not socialism but we’re talking under an article about welfare propping up amazon?

it’s socialism — just not for us

interactionjackson

“lemon socialism” as in we eat the sour losses.

police and fire protect public and privately owned property. more and more property is owned by corporations. now tax payers are making sure the walmart doesn’t burn down. that’s good, if you’re walmart and if you are a resident that can only shop at walmart.

public parks, not socialist until a corporation needs some of that land. then it’s no longer our national parks although we’ve been paying to maintain it.

bailing out banks and not taking ownership of them…

it’s murky waters at best

interactionjackson

i can’t. the space is so small that i would dox myself. they are going to be land survey companies but they aren’t going to give you their implementation details
