France is approaching a bond rate crisis that is going to make it impossible to keep running such a high budget deficit and are going to be forced to cut spending or raise taxes.

The French people are not willing to accept either.

The US debt is a problem too.

It's less of a problem than France's because the US economy is ten times the size of France's and the US economy is still generating growth. The French economy has almost zero percent real growth except for government spending.

Even before AI and without cheating it was pretty easy to get an A on a tale home midterm when you had plenty of time and full access to notes.

A class where you aced the midterm could also lead to "the final is worth 30%, I only need a 70 to keep an A, I'm going to focus my study time on other classes where I'm borderline".

It would be extremely out of character for her. Taylor's response to a serious or traumatic situation is always to push the reaction into her swarm and go MORE Skitter-mode, not less. She only "drops the act" when she's calmer and feels safe.

No, the scales are very different.

Delta's CEO has a base salary of just under $1 million, with total compensation (mostly stock) totaling $27 million.

Delta had over 200 million passengers last year. The CEO's total compensation was around ten cents per passenger.

I don't remember anyone complaining about the blockade as a military tactic.

There were complaints about what the actual goal of the blockade was (trade routes? How do they even work?) about what the Republic is supposed to be*, how Naboo's government and how the gunguns fit, but not about the idea of a blockade. The majority of the complaints were about midiclorians, Anakin, and Jar Jar.

*Is it a true central government that can raise an army to prevent systems from breaking away (and become an empire within a few years), or is it a powerless diplomatic body like the UN where members can declare war or engage in gunboat diplomacy against each other?

Except you do have the freedom to not go under oath in court (with only a few exceptions).

The real response to people who just want to say slurs is that freedom of speech only refers to the government. It doesn't protect you from people telling you that you're an asshole, your employer firing you, or customers boycotting you.

which later on they claimed responsibility for striking the school due to a malfunctioning missile

Source?

If you think nobody would question someone in the region dying two weeks from now after no communication with family since before the strikes, you're a moron. A small number could maybe get called a helicopter crash maybe, but most people would still consider it a result of these strikes and crashing a helicopter on a training mission is more embarrassing than failing to intercept a missile, so it would be a stupid claim to make.

Two hundred is several months worth of deaths during the peak of the US fighting in Iraq. There is ZERO chance that could be covered up.

That's not true either, there are a TON of minor football injuries. Barely anyone gets through a full season without an injury or two.

The only thing I can think of would be if you defined it as "injuries that cause you to miss an event", in which case the actual gap would just be that football players are expected to play through a lot, even at low levels, while gymnasts are not because even minor injuries make it much more dangerous.

until a couple of years ago - though there were many conflicts here and there - international law was working

International law was mostly working because Russia and China were focused internally and the US dominated everywhere else. When one country is pretty much unopposed by any serious rivals, they can enforce laws on everyone except a handful of countries. As Putin has consolidated power and started looking outward again and China has started expanding their influence, that dynamic has broken down.

Not defending Dort for this, but it's literally been posted multiple times in r/NBA and every related sub and been one of the top posts for the last 48 hours since it happened.

Plus some troll keeps making new accounts with zero history to repost it in the OKC sub.
