I haven't dug the V/H/S movies as much since the 80s/90s trilogy, but I'm excited for next year's!

If people are interested in a movie like this that DID fool real people: Ghostwatch is on Shudder (or was recently anyway) and it's a great take on the "fake live broadcast" genre
