It exists.
There’s “repeat mode” - for in case you want a mesh of companions independent out of reach of infrastructure repeaters.

Updated mine to Room Server a week ago.
Nothing special besides the usual suspects:

Making sure it’s a data cable and not just charging (these are old micro usb cables),

Resting while holding the usr button,

Stuff like that…

Maybe add some kind of spring or rubber band on the cable, to create “tension” when the cable is connected.

Adjust the tension just right - so it works exactly like you want it.

This way you also don’t lose the strong attraction that allows it to connect “automatically”.

I already use MeshCore,
And when trying to use your app to connect to my daily companion - I get the “choose region” screen.

When I see this - I stop and exit the app.

I already have the companion set up, the screen “smells” like setting a NEW companion, I don’t want it “resetting” my daily companion, and there’s no “skip” or “I’m already set up” button anywhere that I noticed.

Now,
I KNOW that I’m the “stupid and annoying” user 🤓,
I just thought that maybe you’d like the “stupid and annoying” user’s point of view also :)

And if they repond IMMEDIATELY - than YOU'll recieve the resonse about 45minutes later.

Imagine trying to have a conversation like that...
