I don't quite know the feasiblity of it, but I'd love to see a guardrail preventing you from missing the Mantorok Rune in Chapter 6. Realizing I missed out on something really cool after hours of playing it as a kid was a bitter pill.

Yeah for sure, I wouldnt mind Tauren priests either- they were added with the same ‘sun worship’ lore reason-
Basically the Earthmother was explained to be another name for E’lune, and An’she was the sun, so it was to play into that balance/duality of sun and moon :)

And yeah I can respect where you come from on the more holy side vs light/sun in classic era

The retail canon’s lore of them isn’t anything load-bearing (IE., you’re not pulling a ton of other crap in to make the “why” work), it’s a pretty clean extrapolation of sun worship.
