Are your springs installed upside down?

jag0007

That’s exactly what this is

jag0007

Happens with tall arches

It works great if you have gravel on hard surfaces. Gravel is too heavy for some blowers and this is less annoying than a manual broom.

I went 1/2 stubby with low profile sockets. Combined with an impact driver and 3/8 bit, I have everything I need.

Shattered fufus.

Im into fountain pens. I use mine to store ink and pens

Pick up two locations and cancel the one you don’t want immediately after placing it. Easy peasy

Honestly, I can’t think of a single 10 mm application where you would need the full power. The reason I went with 1/2 inch is because if I’m reaching for an impact, I typically have larger bolts in the half inch range. The biggest nut that I personally work with regularly is on my motorcycle. The rear axle nut is 36 mm and torque to 90 foot pounds. My truck is 22 mm and 140 foot pounds. I also have the impact driver that I can use quarter inch 3/8 and 1/2 inch adapters. It works perfect for everything up to 120 foot pounds.

OP, if size literally did not affect your purchase, then I wouldn’t worry about it. The overlap between 3/8 and 1/2 inch is pretty darn good and even with the stubby and 3/8 inch set from Astro, it’s only 4 mm in height smaller. I bought the half inch myself and that’s because every one of my impacts are in half inch size

It looks like this is the 3/8 48-22-9201. There’s a 1/4 version that goes down to 40 inch pounds. Honestly, I use an armorers torquing screwdriver for my low torque applications.

Harbor

jag0007

Not personally but I have bought tools and gone back after the clearance price dropped for a retroactive price match.

jag0007

That’s been the clearance price for 2-3 weeks now. I’d hold off for a while longer unless you need it now.

I am on board with the 3/8 camp and often reach for it before the half inch. The only reason I have a half inch impact is because I have a shit load of half inch impact sockets I don’t wanna trash. And partially because Harbor freight nano half inch impact socket set goes 40% off on Monday.

Wrenching on my truck and the kids cars. It’s solid enough to apply torque by hand and break nuts. It’s always in my project bag.

jag0007

In between this and the multitool, I use them more than anything

Sincere question: is it worth picking up the 3/8 when I have the 1/2? Most videos Ive seen say they’re the same output.

jag0007

M12 stubby 3/8 is 550 ft lbs

Dual forge 8hour + dual rapid charger are on clearance for $379 at a few stores. Slightly better than this “hack”

jag0007

Select pickup for both and change the item you don’t want to a separate location. Both have to be marked as pickup or both have to be marked delivery. You have to ninja cancel quickly or else you get a “request to cancel”. After successful cancellation you get the following screenshot
