Maybe mine didn't sound exactly like that, but I found that the fender mount right by the hood hinge was loose. I also noticed that one of the rubber rear hood bumpers was rubbing on the cowl. I hit that spot with silicone spray and tightened the fender bolt. Never heard another peep. Check to make sure your steering gear is tight to the frame while you're at it.

The website is embarrassing. Is the content controversial within the club? I've stayed away from hashing precisely due to imagining that the culture was of the tone I saw there. Your posts here on reddit did a lot to reassure me that the original culture had evolved, but maybe that was just surrounding the binge drinking.

I think the sport/social format is a solid concept. Unfortunately it originated, from what I can tell, with this middle-school boy mentality coupled with heavy drinking as the main cultural elements. I got the sense from posts here that they were trying to get away from the crass immaturity and binge drinking, so I was surprised to see that on the website. There is a way to have a sense of irreverence and play without that kind of pointed sexuality. I would not be surprised if there is a schism within the club about the culture.

This type of content seems like it would repel women.

The main things I've seen them on other than TOH have been silver maples and wild grapevines. They've left my fruit trees alone, so it's been better than expected.

They are actually part of my community. It's the one grocery within walking distance. Their strength is how many locations they have. I still shop there because of that.
