As an incredibly heavy Apple household (AirPods, Podminis, AppleTV, iPads, iPhones, iMac,… fuck Apple Vision Pro!) this has been the easiest nope Apple has ever given me.

In The US I never bothered to get the extended warranty because as you noted, it’s a fuck load of money. When AppleCare One came out, it was an no-brainer. The warranty service was something like $28 a month but for $20 a month you could get AppleCare One and it would cover multiple devices, not just your AppleVision. In July, I moved to Canada and AppleCare one doesn’t exist here. I allowed all the coverage to lapse and at this point have no Apple coverage at all. It’s too expensive to bother with in my opinion.

I pre-ordered the GT out of pure excitement to relive my skateboarding days. My first GT arrived dead on arrival. They made me do some seriously suspicious shit to the packaging before returning it to FM. You can look it up in the community if you want. Effectively what they did was made me hide the fact that it had a more powerful battery for immoral cost saving reasons. The shipping company caught wind of their bullshit and apparently held the products hostage they (Future motion) tried to act like it was my fault. It took about a month (mind you this was like five years ago so my memory is foggy) to get my Onewheel. My second “day one” GT arrived, and there were no issues. I learned how shitty Future Motion is as a company after I bought it. I don’t know that I would get another “Wheel” device after this one dies… I’m older and I don’t use it enough, but I will say I know I will never buy another product from Future motion. Simply put there’s a reason everyone says “FFM” around here.

I have a GT bought on Day 1. I ride sporadically (currently showing 350 miles) and really only on streets. I’m 250 pounds. The tire is showing threads so I need to replace it but I have no idea how to decide what is gonna last the longest/best for me. What would you recommend for me to buy for changing the tire myself?

All that to say:
I liked it. I think it was fantastically written and absolutely left you wanting more.
Jordan felt like a good representation of live action Jordan. I don’t know enough to say that about Stewart but I liked him quite a lot. Nathan Fillion is absolutely wonderful as a 2026 take on Guy Gardner.
It had that GoT vibe where the big event episode happens well before the last episode and the last 2 episodes are left wrapping up and setting up the next season. I liked it here. I would be absolutely pleased to watch a S2.

Pay attention during class. TE was pretty chill but the administration has made shit pretty cancerous to work as a Federal employee. I’m sorry to say that “you are coming in at the worst time in 20+ years.” Try not to think about it. Do as best you can and have a back up plan.
TEs do several things but the idea is when people want to make changes to the tax return that’s you. You’ll learn an inordinate amount about doing taxes… Not really, it’s more than anyone would or could actually learn. Luckily you have the IRM (web based instruction manual) to lean on. If you aren’t good at searching for shit online that’s gonna kinda be most of your job. Practice that.

I was my best employed self working at home. I was happier. I handled and had more time to handle my life.
Most important for the employer:
I was doing more work at a better quality than ever before.
But That’s all gone now. Telework was a massive throw away… but it was only a part 0f the destruction. I will never trust the federal government to be a secure employer again. They will never earn that back in my lifetime. The promises are useless.
