Or just said "great, since you came along give me the next fish" lol

jesset77

Instructions unclear. Now Esker's head looks very large

jesset77

This is the "port" side of the ship (left when standing upright inside the ship looking toward the front)

jesset77

"Soon" you will be able to connect your own home computer to all of the other computers in the world.. right over your own telephone line

jesset77

OK but I get the impression that the dirt Pink squeezed for a fraction of a second into some impromptu fake remains may not do much to "impart further essence" to anything

jesset77

Yes, burying the lead sounds as though it might represent an environmental hazard

jesset77

OK I've seen this tape cartridge thing before. But what has me stumped is this big boxy monitor thing you've shoved it into. And why is the picture quality so noisy?

jesset77

But the "pearls inside of pearl's pearl" aren't actual physical gems, and they are not Pearl's actual physical gem inside of herself. They are only simulations of it.

jesset77

I agree with the theory that the inside of Lion's mane is the inside of Steven's gem

You and I may not agree on the definition of "inside" then since Steven has that gem embedded in his stomach when he enters Lion's mane.

During those periods the inside of Lion's mane is very clearly outside of Steven's gem. 😋

He might have as well. I would rate that "wretch" historically had a broader meaning of "misfortunate" which would equally describe both those innocent of guilt for the cause of their own misfortunes and those sleeping in the bed that they themselves have made.

So I would rate the slave owners as "misfortunate": It is a shame that they have such terrible values and I would wish the fortune on a similar person today to learn how to redeem themselves and stop being such a shithead to everyone else around them. Bit of a camel-through-the-eye-of-a-needle scenario that, but the value that one can get from such an impossibly redeemed individual to do good in the world is also unmatched 😳

jesset77

I mean you get downvoted but your observation is accurate. The function of our nation does not currently align with the values that redditors here make it clear that they cherish, and we cannot expect to correct that flaw in the value alignment of the function of our nation if we bury our collective heads in the sand about it.

And I would furthermore go so far as to endorse that the portmanteau "cuntry" is a valid description of any nation presently being run by cunts who treat the wretched in such inhumane ways.

The remainder of us have a responsibility to regain control over the behavior of our nation and to erase these sources of shame from our collective ledger.

I think Lucy might try to hide in the wardrobe

jesset77

No what wasn't what happened?

Was a flippant suggestion made? Yes.

Did that have outsized consequences?

...

...

Seriously, sell me the pen of "Spinel still would have tried to kill all life on planet Earth had the flippant suggestion never been made".

jesset77

😎

My (checks notes) all of my girlfriends asked me out first. Same for at least two of my boyfriends.

My ex-wife asked me to date her, then perhaps a year later asked me to marry her.

Now I did do my share of asking out girls, but with a 0% success rate. And I have also turned down my share of proposals (to mixed levels of yandere wtf responses)

I did ask out my current gf, but she turned me down. Then a year later she forgot I had ever asked her out and she asked me out. 😵

jesset77

Oh no .. none of them worked out for the long run? That's too bad. 😔

jesset77

However "Blunt and likes to be in charge" is fairly more common to find out in the wild than "Blunt and also deferential", among any gender.

At least partly because "deferential" quickly devolves into tact and social gaming and all manner of complexities which undermine any directness.

jesset77

I know negative zero about Lae’Zel other than seeing a handful of screenshots of her. I've never played the game, or even encountered a single line of her dialog.

But I'll be god damned if she doesn't have the most attractive facial expressions ever 😂

Steven Universe objects to this proposal
