Well at the moment the crypto market is bleeding, my whole portfolio is down including the big coins, not just the memes. We had a good pump at the end of last year so this is normal, and January is always a very slow month for Crypto.

Regarding hype, it is always short lived and some people will be constantly on the hype train going from project to project looking for that next dopamine rush and 10-100x overnight win. This isn't ever going to be a good strategy and you will lose or be rugged more often than not.

Start looking for substance over hype. There are many memecoins with genuine purposes, strategies and communities.

You're going to get a lot of different answers because everyone trades and treats memes differently. Some like pump and dumps and try to score quick gains, some look for good long term communities and help grow them, some day trade, some are die hard holders, some do a bit of everything depending on the coin.. the opportunities are endless..

Success looks different for every coin, for some it's reaching high market caps as fast as possible, for others it can be building a really good narrative with a die hard community behind it. In general if it is a legitimate project that isn't a rug, scam or farm, and it survives more than a week, then that makes it pretty successful statistically!

There are many many different types of memecoin scams, you would be amazed at what can be faked and manipulated! Play safe and goodluck 😊

Unfortunately it looks like a scam, it seems the smart contact of this token only allows buying and you cannot sell it. The token creator and team behind the scam will cash out with everything.

You're not wrong that it is a tough feat! The memecoin space is shrouded in dishonesty, degeneracy and short attention spans, the majority of participants don't even know that there is another way and when they see it, the reaction is often one of confusion and lack of belief that it can work, it isn't a message that resonates immediately with the masses.

However, those who align with our values, those who are tired of getting rugged, farmed, lied to and losing, they'll either walk away or they might join us like many are everyday. This space is lawless and we can't change that, but we can be the change we want to see.

More and more memes are emerging as serious long term investments! The more communities like CMAFIA that raise the bar and set the standard, the more people will be drawn away from pump and dump, cheap thrills and losses, and drawn into serious long term communities and growth. I've seen this across lots of other projects, once the Boost ends the chart always dumps, often back to where it was and in some cases even lower! Some people only want pump and dump and short term trading, but eventually people get sick of losing and want something they can count on, bags that they can sleep on. I love that we are building this at CMAFIA 💥🔫💎

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but you always see the biggest boosts on the biggest rugs and scams! How anyone could think it's a sign of commitment is crazy, of course devs don't mind spending a few K when they're going to scam 10-20+ times more that.. There are ways to spend money on a project that are much more strategic, organic and will bring long term success 💎

There is so much good in the memecoin space. Community, connection, collaboration, people working hard and aspiring together, it's amazing. We wanted to capture that and show that all the darkness in the space, rugging, fraud, manipulation, theft etc, it doesn't have to be like that. People have become so accustomed to it, that legitimate, organic and authentic projects seem weird and foreign, and we are even told that we are doing it wrong lol. That is exactly the point l, we want to do it differently, we want to change the game.
