They dont take the funds right away. It happens closer to release, around 10 days before. Same if you pay with debit card.

Keep it off the floor. Pet hair and dust tend to collect there, and it pulls air through the bottom and rear, and vents out the top.

Blow it out with compressed air every so often. Removing the outer shell is easy, and gives access to the heatsink and fan. I do this once a year.

Other than that, enjoy it. Ive got a day one launch series x still running the same as when I bought it, and I only do the above. Its tucked behind my TV, out of direct sun and more importantly my kids/pets, and has plenty of ventilation.

Xbox one x draws air from both sides and exhausts out the rear. Make sure sides and rear have good clearances.

Series x draws from base and rear, and exhausts out the top.

What i did this ladder season and it was quite fun. Not meta fast, but not slow either, and wasn't held back from any areas I tried. Baal runs, chaos runs, all tzs, no issues. Budget friendly, he gets up and running similar to hdin, throw a spirit/lore/stealth/rhyme on him then work up from there.

Bind the crazy a5 spearwoman from ancients way, make sure she had the cursed and fanaticism aura, and summon a defiler or two on top. Emilio with might aura just for another distraction although he spent most of the time in the back as spear chick is a damn speed freak.

Launch series x. Used fairly often, several hours a week, sometimes more if free time allows.

Have opened it up a few times to blow out the dust. No issues to report. Its quiet, works when I ask it to, and havnt had any problems with it.

Plan to do a thermal paste replace later this fall before GTA VI goes live as I figure its about time for that after 6 years. Shouldn't be too bad as ive done it to all the prior generations as well as many laptops and pcs. Little preventative maintenance goes a long way.

What did you use for replacing the thermal putty/pads?

Normally I use arctic mx for paste but curious on the pads. Plan to do mine soon and wanted to prep. Thx
