What kind of bender do you think he'd be? I think Air or water. Definitely not fire
johnny_chan
But don't the Tigers have the Triple Crown winner? I think his name is Sato?
johnny_chan
There's also a chain called California Sandwiches which is actually quite good
johnny_chan
Yeah, from context clues I'm convinced Ben plays MtG and that's why he's so good at card play
johnny_chan
Man what a finish! Normally you can point to an obvious blunder or poor decision that cost them the game but this is one of the rare instances where it was determined by luck.

Heart of the cards

Doesn't say the toilet...

It's funny looking back because they started being hostile to their audience even when people had genuine criticism and suggestions. It boiled down to them saying "if you don't like it, don't watch". That attitude would never fly today in the crowded media landscape haha.

Don't forget that one of the pre-order items was advertised as a canvas bag but people actually got a cheap plastic one instead

yeah seems like there are a few passive challenges that can work on luck. See getting recognized, leaving by boat, and seeing a deer.

so far I see there "vibes" decision to go north was a blunder. They were drawing a ton of shinkansens and they ended up wasting them by going somewhere with very little and being forced to discard them. They should of looked at their hand and thought "hey we can make up the ground by using all these shinkansen cards and do challenges to replenish our hand.

it's a flaw of the location agnostic challenges. Some places are going to be easier to complete a challenge than others but you only ever see one place so you can't compare to a harder place.
johnny_chan
Haha yeah when I saw the trailer clip of Ben at the game I knew the baseball heads would know exactly when and where they were.
johnny_chan
But I've heard that the new player onboarding is terrible. Is that also on the to do list to fix?
johnny_chan
You just answered your own question

Assassin's creed finally doing Japan after refusing for years. When it came out people had Ghosts of Tsushima, Sekiro, Nioh to scratch that itch.

Especially if I'm going to pay $90. I expect a good game with zero bugs
johnny_chan
I know they hate analyzing body language but in the trailer Atom is standing in front of the hit discussing their next move and they look bummed
johnny_chan
He is a massive basketball fan. The hit to his ego and reputation is more punishing to him than money will ever be.
johnny_chan
why go 50/50 when you can go 1/1. It's the same fraction!
johnny_chan
Now he looks like you did something disgusting
johnny_chan
But that's in reference to the cat card which is just one card anyway. The bigger question is if it's draw 15 pick 3 OR (draw 5 pick one) x3. The two are vastly different
I'm getting tired of "your BFF / mentor for the entire journey is actually evil and betrays you when you reach your goal" Is it so hard to have good friends you trust and go on a journey together?
