I don't feel bad for that motorcyclist at all. That was an asshole move, per usual.

Not sure if EDD felt the need to hire people from places like San Diego while we were all working from home, but I would presume those people are screwed as well?

He's an absolute creep but I'm willing to bet many of the people here voted for him not only the first two times but also in the recall. So there's that.

Buckhorn's has always been overpriced.

We've been told the entire department should be treated the same. Honestly, I don't think that's fair. Frankly, IT classifications are different than those in business areas. That's just the way it is. We don't process paperwork, we don't do mail, we do have to work after core hours to complete technical processes. The nature of one's work should also play a role. I'm not saying there aren't other areas that can be efficient at home as well as IT but to your point, different areas of departments work undet different business requirements. I'm pissed because theres little hope IT will get a chance to do their own thing because of "fairness". You better believe I will no longer be available after I leave the office. Screw that.

I'm going to cry! My daughter is going to be overjoyed!

One of the Goodwill's here has gone rogue from the $2.99 price. They have some up to $11.99! I am not paying any more than $2.99 for vinyl at Goodwill. If I were going to pay that, I'd go to my local used record shop.

This scanning upon entering situation is THE MOST assanine things at Costco! 1. you have to have a membership card to check out 2. If the cashiers would take 2 seconds to match the picture on the back of the card with the person using it, they'd probably cut down on the alleged misuse of memberships. Although I can't imagine the number of people doing this is costing Costco too much money. Get an effing grip Costco. What a bottleneck that is too! After 25 years of membership, I find myself going to Costco less and less because they're an asshole company and to that other warehouse store more because my experience is 100% more pleasurable! That other place doesn't care if you have a membership card upon entering because you have to have it (or the app connected to one) upon check out!

It's no surprise Cricut doesn't support this. They are a greedy twisted corrupt company. There is no reason why Bluetooth should fail on a $400 machine. With that said, I could only hope that's what happens to my Maker 3 because that'd be the last straw for me before leaving the Cricut system altogether. It's not right what they do with Design Space, forcing you to print from only their incredibly poor software, charging for all the things, displaying that dumb ad trying to get you to subscribe every time, it's a terrible user experience. All to say as soon as my Bluetooth goes out, I'm headed out to buy the Siser Juliet!

This should be fascinating given the price of gas because of his sucky policies and those before him and his reluctance to approve a pause on gas taxes. He is a total douche!

We purchased OEDRO mats for out '23 from a recommendation and couldn't be happier.
Also, car pricing really depends on where you live. Los Angeles was priced really high and nobody was budging.

Our 2010 Ody gave us the middle finger over Christmas after 190k. She was so good to us until she wasn't, threw us a blinking CEL six hours down the road and said screw you I'm done without any tantrum or fits leading up to that. We purchased a 2023 Touring under distress, making the best decision given our situation and inventory. All that to say the HVAC was the first thing I noticed that sucked compared to the last. I also don't think the seats are as comfy as our '10 Touring and the sound system is garbage. I could go on but thats a different thread.

I'm a little embarrassed I hadn't heard of most of these people. I know KD and Waylon. Did you know the rest of these peeps or are they new to you as well?

This is an amazing collection! I have many of these and didn't even know they were once AOTY! PS. That Judy one is a good one.

Gord's Gold. Not familiar with much else.

Rumor has it the Siser Romeo and Siser Juliet are the way to go. Look into those. I hate DS and Cricut as a company so much I need to figure out when to cut my losses and switch over myself. Good luck.

I can totally speak to this! I picked up an album for $1 at a thrift store. It had what I thought was a psychodelic cover by The Moody Blues. My initial reaction was "WTH is going on here?" It was titled Days of Future Passed by The Moody Blues with the London Festival Orchestra. I knew MB sang a few songs I knew but everything about this cover was throwing me off. Anywho, in the end I'm SO glad I bought it. It's a fantastic vintage listen!! Little did I know it has quite the following and led me to additional research and insight into the history and the life and times of the actual recording bla bla bla. I've since stumbled upon three more copies, all in VG+ condition, to give to my friends and family who are also in for the experience, including a preferred Germany edition. What a hidden gem this was for me.

I remember listening to my mom's vinyl back in the 80s as a young teen when her small collection included wonders of the 70s. Once CDs hit, I was obsessed. Still am. My collection is probably around 1,000. I can't help myself. While streaming is convenient, it's not the same experience for me, I want to open up that CD case, peruse the liners, etc. Recently I've rediscovered this with album covers! Let's not forget the multiple BMG and Columbia House memberships and getting a pack of CDs in the mail!! Back to my recent vinyl obsession, Mom said I could come get her vinyl collection. I did but had nothing to play it on. Found a bargain on a twin set of Yamaha turntables from 1980s, $35 for the set. He said they didnt work which I suspected meant new belts. $100 later between belts and a decent needle, I was up and running. To say I'm obsessed is an understatement. Fortunately I live near a decent sized record store, selling new and used. I couldn't care less about the new stuff on vinyl. When I see the prices of the new stuff, then I REALLY don't care. LOL. I'm more interested in older 60s, 70s, and 80s. IMO, today's stuff is suited more for the digital world we live in anyway. I have no issue streaming that. Anywho, I've been lucky to find the "vintage" vinyl at this place for $2-5 each. I'd say most are VG+ with covers VG condition. There was another place not too far from me I found has an annual sale, $10 for 10 or fill a box for $50. I walked away with 30 for $30, 30 amazing records! Anywho, my point is it depends on what you're looking for. If you're in it for the new stuff then I can see how it could get expensive fast. Otherwise, there are some deals to be had between used record stores and thrift stores. You never know what you'll find at thrift stores. Growing up with vinyl, hearing a few pops and some surface noise is nostalgic for me. I don't mind it. With that said, I do visually inspect before I buy. My collection expanded quickly from used purchases about 300% in the last six months. The most I spent on one was $22 shipped on eBay but that was Toto IV, obviously an anomaly and one other one that was nostalgic for me. Otherwise I don't spend more than $5. Even then I'd prefer less. I think others have mentioned going slow and steady. You're entitled to a hobby. Don't give it up. Just go in with the mindset that you don't need everything now. Be patient. Enjoy the journey. Give yourself a monthly allowance.

We purchased it at Target several years back and have never seen it in multiples stores since. Not sure what happened to it but nice to see it hasn't completely disappeared.

I recently learned you can replace the long foam rings within to get it up and running again. They're $5 on Amazon!

I'm with you. I just made a recipe with all half n half (plus sugar and vanilla) and it turned out fine. I've been making homemade ice-cream for years in old school makers and have never used pudding mix. This seems so foreign to me.

These are good. They pack some heat but my GFLO like them. I think these are a good start but I wish Costco would carry more GF. It's been hit or miss here. I feel a lot of the frozen things (e.g orange chicken, potstickers, wontonny thingies, etc.) could be made GF and nobody would know the difference.

Loopy Whisk is becoming my go to when making GF goods for my loved ones. I can vouch for her and I've tried many different recipes before landing on her site:
Cinnamon Rolls (We're not vegan so I user real milk and butter and they turn out fantastic): https://theloopywhisk.com/2022/04/04/gluten-free-vegan-cinnamon-rolls/

Not directly Walmart. It's like Amazon, where anyone can go and sell items. If you look towards the bottom right, you'll see the seller is Lakeside Shipper.
Newsom is an absolute effing retard! He has destroyed and continues to destroy the state of CA! America, TAKE NOTE!!
