Is this something that you KNOW or you just speculating? You're stating it as though it's fact so I hope you brought receipts.

I have ordered from Trusty many times and he has always come through for me. Sounds like there's a backlog of VS orders. They have become the #1 factory for most of the top watches, especially since Clean was raided (RIP Clean). VS was raided and shut down about 5 years ago so they are being extra careful now and only delivering in small batches.

You can either wait it out or pick anther watch.

Every rep is a dice roll brother. I have reps that are 20+ years old and still run. Other that showed up DOA. A couple of good rules of thumb for a positive experience are:

• Only buy top tier reps from top factories. VSF, ZF, ARF etc. have all been around a long time and have proven near-gen quality.
• Buy watches with minimal complications. GMTs, chronos, day/date, etc. are all going to have more problems even in gen.
• Get the watch professionally water proofed as soon as you get it. Never trust out of the box water proofing from the TD.

Follow these basic rules and your rep watch will last many years.

The funny thing is, if this was gen it would become a collectors item because of the dial error. It would probably sell for 3 times it's value because of its' "uniqueness".

Great choice! The 116710LN does not get enough love in my opinion. Dresses up nice with a suit and dresses down with jeans too. I like it so much better than the Bruce Wayne. Here is my 7 year old Clean V1 with a Clark crystal for comparison (freshly repolished). Still looks great and keeps good time.

Question, is the entire watch titanium or just the bracelet? I read a post here from someone who bought the ZF Pelagos and said the case was steel and only looked like titanium. The bracelet was 100% titanium though.

Yours looks really good. This is my Clean 116613LB for comparison. This watch is over 5 years old and I just had it repolished. Most people agreed that Clean had the best color match to gen rolex gold.

You got lucky. I never trust rep factory water proofing. I get all my reps professionally water proofed as I get them. The I never have to think about if I'm wearing a rep or a gen when I get it wet.

Thank for the update on ZF. I used to be on this reddit for years but haven't logged in for a few months. A lot can change in the rep world in a few months. I think you helped me make my decision. Much appreciated.

Sorry but was yours M+ or ZF? I really want this watch but I am torn between M+ which I have been told has the better finish but is thicker than gen vs. ZF which is gen thickness but the color (teal) is off and rougher finish.

Yeah, I think I'll hold on to this one...

That's a stock V3 crystal, not Deep. Clean really upped their crystal game ....right before they got raided.

Agreed. With the top tier reps they are visually dead-on accurate, especially to the untrained eye. However, the feel is something else. The edges on the underside of the case and bracelet are sharper even on the best reps like VSF or Clean. That's why so many people do "edge softening" on their top tier reps.

Most of the TDs will also sell bracelets. You should be able to get an ARF bracelet from the TD you bought the watch from. I did this through Trusty for one of my watches that came on a jubilee but I wanted an oyster bracelet too. Should cost about $150 with shipping. You can also look on Ali Express.

It was only a matter of time. The factories have done just about everything else possible to make their watches look gen on the inside and out. The free sprung balance was kind of the last bridge to cross. Now that a couple of factories have done it for Rolex reps it will be interesting to see if Omega reps get the same upgrade.

All the TDs sell the same stuff so just read the Intro Guide and pick one, but I don't recommend the VS Milgauss. I would buy a different watch if I could do it over.

First, Congrats on the baby! The birth of your first child is a very special occasion. If you're buying a watch to celebrate that then you want the watch to last and maybe even hand it down to the child when they are old enough. The odds of a rep lasting that long are not good. I would recommend you dig a little deeper and buy yourself a gen watch. It doesn't have to be a $10K watch. There are really nice gen watches under $3K brand new. Longines, Oris, Tag Heuer and others all have really nice watches in that price range that will last a lifetime.

My question would be about rep movement it uses. Does it have a ghost date or is the movement designed for a no-date watch?

I didn't send that watch back but if I did I would have no problem using my real name. People send things to China all the time and it's not illegal to possess counterfeit merch but, if you don't want to have "issues with customs", don't buy counterfeit merch from sellers in China.

Honestly I don't think it's worth it to replace the crystal. Even if you buy a cheap crystal it will cost about $50 to have it installed. Based on the pic I would say that's about what the watch is worth. Take the L and buy something better.
