Nope. I'm still eating just about everything and haven't noticed anything off or gotten sick. The only change I made was buying whole heads of lettuce for salads and making sure to cook other greens thoroughly, but even this is only due to the current cyclospora issue. I'll be back to eating whatever again soon.
To be fair, I also don't have to worry about raspberries or blueberries because we have bushes of them in our yard.

If not wanting to have a relationship with my in-laws because they insulted my mother on her deathbed and made jokes at her expense makes me toxic, then I am one toxic motherfucker. But I'm still going to tell my husband his parents are shitbags.

I totally agree, and think a lot has stemmed from the whole "Karen" meme and people have started acting like ANY complaint makes you a Karen. Like, the employee could dump a drink on your head, but if you dare to get upset, you're a Karen because service work sucks/they're underpaid/they're having a bad day. No. They are being paid to do a job, they agreed to the pay (shitty as it may be), and they should not have the immediate right to be an asshole just because their employer is asking them to do the job they're paid to do.
I've worked crappy retail and food service. It sucks! That's part of why I don't ask a lot of employees. I don't need a super fake cheerful greeting with big corporate smile. I don't need them to bend over backwards or go above and beyond. I don't need them to greet me or follow me around the store just in case I have questions. I go out of my way to not bother underpaid employees if I can help it. I am polite when interacting, and don't act like any issue I have is their fault personally. If a mistake is made on the employee/company's part, I don't fly into a rage or demand a discount or refund or anything. Shit happens, it's okay. But yeah, if they're going to treat me like a nuisance or snap at me rudely, I'm not just going to roll over and take it because they hate their job.

My husband absolutely refuses. I'd wanted my tubes removed forever, so he didn't see the point since I was taking birth control for my periods well before I needed it for it's namesake. It frustrated me because he has expressed over and over that he doesn't want kids but won't take the steps to make it permanent.
Ah well, I had my tubes removed in the summer of 2024 so it's irrelevant to me now. But if he ever cheated on me and got a chick pregnant, I would laugh at him through the whole divorce process (though I don't believe he would cheat).

Edit: And blocked because they are pathetic 😂😂

Admin Assistants are similar at my job! I was hired into that role and kind of chuckled at how different each department's admin's job was. I half escaped last year and then this year they did a reorg and my new boss was like, "What were they doing with you before??" and now I don't do any admin tasks. Fine by me, that role was a foot in the door and now I'm on a better track for me. The reorg was suggested by the aforementioned VP and pissed off pretty much my entire department except for me. 😬😬

Your mom is a detriment to the mental health community.

When I didn't like cucumbers, I found that I liked cucumber infused water. You can also do cucumber/mint or cucumber/basil. I don't know what it was, but it was SO refreshing and tasted amazing. I found later that my tolerance for cucumbers increased, so I started adding thinly sliced cucumber to my sandwiches or peeled and chopped rather small in my salads.
Still can't really eat them on their own, but am much more used to them now.

NTA. Happy hour is a thing. Colleagues going out for drinks is very common, even for folks that don't drink. They could have just said, "No, thank you, I don't drink," and leave it at that. Instead, they gave a snarky response and are resorting to middle school mean girl behavior by bringing it up the way they did later. It was absolutely bitchy and I wouldn't bother with these coworkers anymore.

The people posting those links were doing the lord's work, lol. I've since found a couple other sites that I will read on for now until the issue is resolved. I largely read on mobile and can not get the fixes to work/am too dumb to get them to work. Hopefully things get back to normal soon. 😭

And this attitude is exactly why things like sharing nudes has become more prevalent and thus, having to suffer the consequences more commonplace. It sucks that this happened to OOP or happens to anyone, but this is exactly why the warnings of sharing nudes were spread to begin with. We all make mistakes, it sucks. The more important thing is to learn and grow from them, not act like there are no negative outcomes to our decisions, ever, regardless of who is at fault.
k-squid
It's what I know.
k-squid
No you haven't. At least not in any response to me. Simply not wanting to be pregnant is enough of a reason to not become pregnant and isn't selfish at all. 🙄🙄
k-squid
Everyone has their own reason.
k-squid
Sexism has been around way longer than that, bud. 😂😂

You're not reducing women to a uterus but find it disturbing that women might make a choice for themselves to not have children. Denigrate said decision and call it a "sick" mindset. Right. 🙄🙄
k-squid
It's logical. There is no need for every woman to have children. I find it vastly more disturbing that women are still being reduced to nothing but a uterus.
k-squid
Disturbingly more common to think kids should be born into families that don't want them.

Why?
Really, more people should just use their damn words. My husband and I were recently at a festival, and I wanted to get in line for some food. I queued up at what I thought was the end of the line only to hear a lady behind me tell someone else that the line started "back there" and bitching to whoever she was with about people cutting in line. I turned around and asked her where the line started and she glared at me and pointed in the general direction. I told her she could try not being a massive cunt and just let me know. That I had thought I was at the end and all she had to do was tap me on the shoulder, use her damn words, and I would have moved immediately. Instead, she wanted to sit and be a passive aggressive asshole.
I went and got food elsewhere but honestly. My husband and I have been in this situation before and I have never reacted poorly to someone saying, "Excuse me, the line actually starts over there." I always apologize and thank them for letting me know because I am not trying to cut in line. I make a genuine effort to make sure I am not getting in the way but sometimes a crowd can make it confusing. My bad, God damn.
