Yep. Winter break is the best time to go for cheap tickets!

Most of the Salvation Army thrift stores exist to fund their adult rehabilitation centers in that same market. And they have all sorts of other programs offering assistance to people who wouldn’t have anything without it - disaster recovery, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, and more.

You can disagree with how the Salvation Army operates, or dislike the fact that they are so conservative and Christian, but they are not a for-profit business and the people that work there are not doing it for the money. They do an incredible amount of work all over the world.

The average day is under a year, but yes, they get paid a very small amount because the work they do is helping to pay for their housing, food, and support. There are active lawsuits about that issue that have been going on for a couple years now.

kc_kr

If I recall correctly, having worked with them, nobody in the Salvation Army makes more than $160,000.

Because he’s not in game shape yet. We’ll be fine.

Kia doesn’t have extended warranty available everywhere, like Ford ESP, for example, so people in here won’t really know the details of what your plan is without you sharing them.

That said, I think extended warranties are not a bad idea and have one on our Carnival. We bought it when we had about 33,000 miles, so a couple thousand before the first of the factory warranty started to expire. Buying at one new is a waste of money, personally, since you are paying for duplicate coverage for at least three years/36,000 miles. You can always buy it later, and the prices are always negotiable.

That is a great choice. OP, they are definitely going to mark it up and resell it to make money, which I know you said you didn’t want to do, but that money all goes towards funding their no-cost adult rehab center here in KC. Totally funded by their thrift stores in town.

Yeah, they were prob the two most famous people in the world.

Think so.

Would highly recommend etrailer.com for parts, install guides and advice. Those guys are great.

This video is a good start: https://youtu.be/0WTJOk-43zE?is=tvA3RANcc-0l1Q9r

It is 3,500 pounds, not kilograms, and that is only if you upgrade to have trailer brake capability (or your trailer has surge brakes). Without trailer brakes, it’s only 1000 pounds.

To the Rock? lol. Jordan was far more famous.

It is a common issue on the Carnival and I wish there was an explanation, but it also doesn’t seem to lead to any serious problems. I’ve had mine topped off twice in 4 1/2 years.

kc_kr

Oh, is that the Trumpcare plan we’ve been promised for 11 years and never seen any detail of?

My wife has been going to Dr Cooper for like 20 years, and she was fabulous through both of our pregnancies. The rest of the staff there was great, as was advent health for delivery.

I work at a high-end dealer and the full-time detailing staff we have does amazing work on basically every unit we have, new or used. Not doing that is nuts.

Small Details Garage in Gladstone. He does great work for really reasonable prices because it’s out of his garage. https://www.smalldetailsgarage.com/

Of course it is but are you really trying to tell me this story would get equal attention if she was black, 28 and worked at Arby’s?

kc_kr

Do you join long threads about other senseless east side murders? I don’t, if they even exist. That was kind of my point.

kc_kr

You can’t even lease a GLA for that low of a price…

kc_kr

The cynic in me says that was part of how they got across that she was a well-educated white person, which is part of the reason the story got as much attention as it did…😬

kc_kr

Every story mentions her as a former UMKC volleyballplayer, and I even saw one that didn’t say former but she’s 28 years old. Why is it relevant that she played volleyball six years ago?

I’m not sure cutting down forests of trees like teak and IPE and then importing that wood from halfway across the world is really that much more of an environmentally friendly solution than decking made with a decent amount of recycled plastic.
