I'll see the prices available to me for the MBA. At the end of the day, I'm thinking I'm not a professional, I won't be. Especially when I drown in paperwork, I'm skeptical I'll even find the will to draw. I'm making this purchase really with digital art in mind.

As of now, I'll get the MBA. It was nice to dream for a while though, that I'd have a schedule that'll give me time to draw for leisure.

If I progress in digital art, then I'll consider upgrading. As of now, I think my safest bet is the MBA. I'll just have to decide if I'm getting the base model or the upgrades.

Do you think there'll be a noticeable difference between a 8gb ram and a 16gb one? Thanks again.

Thanks! Went to an apple store (power mac in my country), clerk said Photoshop won't work well with the MBA. This is why I go to forums honestly. :)

May I know which iPad you'd recommend as a companion to the MBA? All these minis and pros are really taking me for a ride!

I input my fingers 2x at least. Fingerprint 1 and 2 for one finger as the main. It's so much faster and I don't get any fails anymore, when using that finger at least.

It depends on your goals. No rush really. I'm 28 and I live with my parents. We carpool to work and share the bills. I also have older friends who still live with their parents.

Same sentiments. Live independently if it is a necessity. Otherwise, it'd just be a waste of money. I read a rule somewhere saying that you can afford to live alone if your rent/utilities/living dues make up 30% of your income.
