Tell us you don’t have a clue about firearms or hunting and you’re just ranting. …”pick up lead casings.”

Seriously dude. There is no such thing as lead casings. The bullets may be lead, but never the casings. Casings are brass, steel, aluminum, plastic, or a combination of those. Never lead.

I was mostly in agreement with your post. These guys tell their wives they are providing food for the family, take off a week from work, take tens of thousands of dollars of equipment into the field, shoot a buck, take it to a taxidermist, pay to have meat processed by someone else. They are not living off the land or saving money.

Their venison is some of the most expensive meat on earth. They could buy Wagu cheaper.

I know some rednecks and Amish that shoot a doe before work, hang it in the barn then spend half the night after work with the whole family packaging it. They are living off the land.

The goal of playing scales is to learn the scale and your fretboard, not to just play a scale.

Play the scale linearly and move up the fretboard as you go. Experiment with shifting different places.

Until you can play a two (or three) octave scale fingered 5-6 different ways, you really don't have a full grasp of the scale or your fretboard.

???

Googled it and here is the the reply...

It looks like "V0if099e" might be a typo or a broken serial/part number, as there are no known multimeters or electronic test tools under that exact name.

I just disassembled it and put it back together. Wasn't that difficult. Two of the screws didn't seem to grab very well. I will baby it until the replacement comes. I may try to find some slightly longer screws and put a dab of JB Weld into the hole before screwing them back in.

I’m here for the comments. I don’t know or care anything about bicycle racing and have no clue why this popped up on my feed.

kirk2892

Probably dislocated his shoulder too the way he grabbed the rail.

I have the DCF921 which only has slightly more torque. I have found any lugs that were a challenge or all.

I had some ground anchors that it couldn’t power through. Had to borrow the DCF961 from the farm. That thing is a beast usually use on tractor lugs.

I think you are right. The part that broke off looks like the screws weren’t set deep enough or were long enough. I am going to take it apart and see if I can fix it with longer screws.

I expect the other arm rest to break too. We’ll see?

I have these in 5 sizes. I use them all the time fit DIY stuff. I use the self-adjusting cobra way more though.

Guitarrón mexicano

I have always been curious about these Mexican mariachi guitars. I have heard mariachi bands and the basses project way more volume than my Michael Kelly Dragonfly.

Just searched on Wikipedia and I just learned that they are tuned differently. A1-D2-G2-C3-E3-A2.

Tuned in the same intervals as a guitar in A standard. The A1 is the same as the A on a regular bass. The surprise is that the highest A is A2 not A3.

Wonder how these would sound tuned E standard in the bass range?

Took a while to get ahold of anybody, but did get two messages today saying they were shipping me a new armrest and a $30 refund for my troubles. I guess there is that. We'll see how quick it comes.

I really like the chair otherwise.

Looks like the biker was lane splitting and traveling faster than surrounding traffic. I watched for when the blinker activated and I would guess the biker was 8-10 car lengths behind, but came up so fast that only three blinks had happened.

He is very lucky he didn’t get killed.

kirk2892

What are diy fixes for the armrest over movements? I’m interested.

kirk2892

Dingwall is the correct answer here.

kirk2892

At first I misread your first sentence as "Elderly Wankers." Then I read the rest and realized that is what is should have said. :)

kirk2892

If you are in Arkansas, you stop immediately no matter how much traffic there is. If you don't they will PIT you.

kirk2892

Most folks that are into altered tuning also spend a lot of time studying string tension calculations.

You will not be able to tune down more than 3-4 half steps without having an unusable floppy string or up 2-3 without creating dangerous over-tension.

kirk2892

Just a wild guess, but I think it looks like and Elderly bass. I could be wrong.

Thanks for all the recommendations.

This kid loves old electronics and frequents the antique shops for old radios, vcrs, ancient adding machines, etc.

I decided to pick up something vintage. I found an old radio shack multimeter on eBay.

I also ordered a budget one from Amazon that someone here recommended.

Nutshell. Alice In Chains. Easy part but timing is everything.

kirk2892

Of course I have to recommend Thomastik Infeld Jazz Flats. That is the proper Reddit thing to do.

I empathize with the white car. Some of these "highway engineers" make "Limited access" nearly impossible.

C0 at 16 hz is insane to me. Do you have to use an 18” sub to play that?
