YTA--truly, teenagers are just little shits and you waaay overreacted. Let me tell you a story about teenaged kookapo. I too, went through, "I'm so cool, I'm going to call my mom by her first name." phase. My mom did not care for it and told me, "You know, everyone in the world can call my by my first name or Mrs. Lastname. But there are only two people, you and your sister, in the whole entire world, that can call me 'mom'. And that's very special to me." I haven't called her anything but some variation of Mom since. (Well, maybe 'bitch' once or twice--teenagers really are little shits.)
