Gacha forests are a thing. They're stupidly popular and can be really expensive. Haven't seen these ones personally, but haven't taken the kids to a gacha place in a while. Gonna guess on the more premium side 800円($5-6ish).

The issue is it's not just a basic id they want (i.e. driver's liscence/ID catd). It's always some kind of specialized ID or something like a passport (which can cost $100+) that many people can't afford.

One of the things that's illegal is charging a poll tax i.e. charging money to vote. U.S. IDs cost money and requiring them to vote runs into the poll tax laws.

No one honestly gives a shit about the IDs. They want them to be a barrier preventing people to vote. Can't afford a passport or the super special ID? Sucks to be you, can't vote.

Now... when you say. Fine IDs are good and all now have the government distribute them freely to all it's citizens, eliminating the need to pay for it and not conflicting with poll tax laws. You're a commie socialist wanting free handouts and hate the country apparently.

Yea, having played the mortgage game a few times. You can figure 10-20%(maybe more)of your monthly payment is escrow.

So like $593 probably around 100 maybe $150 of that is escrow. No way in hell that $100 a month is jumping to $600 without anyone knowing overnight.

When you buy a house what you pay monthly has your property taxes rolled in. The banks collects your mortgage payment and extra money that goes into an escrow account that pays for extras i.e. property tax.

Your monthly payments can go up or down depending on how much the bank thinks you'll need in escrow.

So... it would be really weird to say paying $593 a month to suddenly paying $600+ once your paid off. Especially since the bank ain't paying your taxes out of the kindness of their heart. You'd be dishing out $1200ish a month before that last payment.
