It's true, the drug is currently undergoing clinical trials:

The drug began human testing at Kyoto University Hospital in October 2024.

The registered Phase I study had a target sample of 30 healthy adult men aged between 30 and 64 who were missing at least one molar. It was a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled dose-escalation study designed primarily to assess safety. The study protocol involved single intravenous doses of TRG035 or a placebo. Secondary outcomes included pharmacokinetics and the development of antibodies against TRG035.

In May 2026, Toregem said it had raised US$5.3 million to support Phase II trials in Japan and preparations for future development in the United States. The company said its cumulative funding, including grants and subsidies, had exceeded US$29 million.

In August 2026, the company said the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency had completed its investigation of the clinical trial notification for a Phase IIa study.

The planned study will involve 24 children with severe congenital tooth agenesis across multiple centres. It will be open-label and non-comparative, with the aim of investigating dosing in the population TRG035 is intended to treat.

Following the clinical trials, the research team plans to have the medicine ready for general use in 2030. If successful, they believe the tooth regrowth medicine could be a ‘game changer’ for dentistry.

However, the 2030 target should be treated as provisional. TRG035 still needs Phase II efficacy data, further regulatory review and approval before it could become available. The next stage of development is focused on severe congenital hypodontia, not adult tooth loss caused by periodontal disease, trauma or decay.

Toregem is also preparing for potential development outside Japan. In July 2026, the company said it had been selected for two Kyoto overseas expansion support programmes intended to help it establish international research partnerships and explore licensing opportunities.

TL;DR: phase I clinical trial done on 30 adult men in 2024. Phase II clinical trial currently underway. Provisional drug release target is 2030 (pending further clinical trial results of course).

For anyone playing with Eng audio - have a listen with CN audio on, as well! The VAs are absolutely amazing.

Wait until Ghost Hand (eng. Wraithflame) comes out, get on a whale boat and try on both. Have a run around, see how each set moves, how the hair flows, whether you're okay with how each behaves (if it clips, how the clothes move).. Try combining items from both sets with your favourite outfits and accessories, see which feels better etc. Make screenshots and look them over again later and set those observations against your list of pros and cons.

From my experience, making lists and plans (even from videos of outfits) is one thing, but once you can actually put them on your own character and move around, it can change your perspective drastically.

It depends on what releases when, I guess. Jupiter banner is tied to Weiyang. It is expected we will get Hutou next, but then we could get Weiyang instead of Jiangnan, who knows. I really wish they gave us a release roadmap for content already on CN, damnit haha

You can - the long silver hair pin is a separate accessory and the remaining silver embellishments can be toggled off, so you can absolutely wear the hairstyle plain.

I was sitting on 3 until just recently and good lord, don't know how you can take it with 6 haha

It was such a relief when Pengshan outfit finally dropped and I could finally spend 2 of mine.

From this past year of experience, casually playing (almost) daily, with shit luck you can get 4 free cores in a year, so you can get at least 2 hc outfits.

Mate are you kidding! There's so, so many examples - one of the reasons I love this game so much is their inclusion of same sex motives. Like, one of my earliest memories from exploring outskirts of Kaifeng is the two blokes, one kabedon-ing the other against some hay.

There's couple on a Kaifeng garden bridge hugging, admiring the scenery.

There are the two AI NPCs in Liangzhou (a scholar from Lone Cloud and a Raging Tides warrior). You need to help the LC one retrieve a poetry book that has fallen down a cliff and from talking with both and what they say it's completely clear they are in love. I literally played matchmaker for them and it was the sweetest thing. And then if you go the future map and fight a mini boss standing on a cliff you find out that it's actually the kid they adopted some time later. Like I shit you not, I was grinning like a fool for a good half an hour.

Plus, a literal jianghu legacy quest in Liangzhou is a tragic w/w romance story.

Then there are things like obviously being able to marry same sex players and play all the couple emotes with them.

This game is absolutely not shying away from same sex relationships and I love it for it.

Sadly some of the channels I'm subbed to have started doing this as well. For me, the compromise (while not losing the content I want to have updates on) is to just install an extension which replaces the thumbnails with a frame from within the video itself.
