So sad to hear. The alerts are mostly the only reason I open Reddit.

check if it's still 100% creapure. I've seen brands switch to china creatine or 99% (plus some vitamins or sweeteners), both makes the product cheaper.

I think this is a nerf no one asked for. It brought strategy into the game (e.g. you could stall / defend from below instead of just above / same floor and so on), without brining explosives

kurtextrem

Yes, but that's the point! If the right half ages 'faster' what's the implication for lefties?

kurtextrem

I wonder what this means for left handed people (me) / what are the implications for us?

kurtextrem

You might be interested in "ZahlGrafs Abenteuer", or also r/gehebelteETFs or also letf.io. All those have specifically lev. etf strats for the German market

The most interesting solution I've seen so far is the reverse sticky technique: https://pierre.computer/writing/on-rendering-diffs

kurtextrem

It means react will split up the rendering work. If the React render takes a while (because a lot of components need to re-render for example), it will yield to the main thread every 5ms. This allows for example paints to happen and keeps INP low on interactions: https://kurtextrem.de/posts/improve-inp-react#enabling-concurrent-rendering-.

Also, it batches. As written in the article, if the renders take a while, only the last one will actually commit (aka. update the DOM). So if you have 3 updates, only the last one will modify the DOM. And if you use "useTransition" React aborts prior renders, otherwise it'll wait them out but still only flush the most recent state update to the DOM.

do I remember your name from back in the overclock forum days? been a while. good luck with the launch, specs look impressive!

kurtextrem

There's a reason why I've published this blog post (pre-AI!) https://kurtextrem.de/posts/improve-inp-react - React sites underperform the average web in INP.

Concurrent React, a11y / native HTML, pre-hydration readiness are often overlooked things in React based sites (and frameworks), because it's so easy to write React the wrong way.

Will let them know!

Warte erstmal bis sich der Spread einpendelt.

And yet the pharma industry made it happen to prolong the usage of TiO2 for capsules. Yay.

I would count Kuma as CSS-in-JS engine (https://www.kuma-ui.com/docs#the-hybrid-approach), but I can see if you say it might not fully fit your benchmark

kurtextrem

Great work! I wonder if it makes sense to also compare Kuma and Next-Yak?

kurtextrem

useSyncExternalStore to the rescue.

kurtextrem

did you upload your pictures? they send the tret variant only when you do that (to comply with the laws). I got both (the one you describe and the one with tret after uploading)

kurtextrem

skin&me but the dose is low.

I think the idea is neat, this is pretty much like emojis in sentences to break them into visual distinct pieces, which can make reading easier! It's also positive that the post here also doesn't sound like AI (unlike lots of others in this sub), so I genuinely think this is a cool project... but man, the landing page screaaaaams "Opus build a landing page for this git repo make no mistakes", it looks like 100% slop (which is sad, because once again everything in there seems like you put thoughts into it)

+1, a huge rotating layer is often the opposite of performance. Can overwhelm the GPU of older devices easily (not that apple cares in this case, I guess)

kurtextrem

Sorry for the bad experience, this was certainly not intentional and is getting fixed today - see also https://www.reddit.com/r/framer/s/Wuu91Ls7gM.

kurtextrem

I'll forward this internally. Meanwhile, can you report (give feedback on) the conversation where this happened?

What makes this better than Fresh or Astro?
