I don't know how they're tracking any ball in the air, the bright smokey sky is hard to even look at
kylechu
If Framber tries floating that curveball into the zone on Julio he's gonna hit it to the moon
kylechu
I don't think the pitchcom has a "hang the splitter" button.
kylechu
Been running a 30% strikeout rate since the start of July in AAA, doubt that's gonna get any better if he's called up.
kylechu
No Naylor's a surprise but a day game the day after a night game is when you normally play your backup catcher.
kylechu
Damn Woo can scoot
kylechu
I always got mad when Cano would do that and then one time he ran and immediately hurt himself and missed a month so now I'm fine with it.
kylechu
Because shuffling around 6-8 in your lineup doesn't really matter
kylechu
Yeah everyone talking about how this feels like 2004 or 2010 when it's really just another 2017.
kylechu
I knew there was something wrong with Goldy this last week. This is way more miserable than any of those games but he doesn't sound nearly as ready to die.
kylechu
Donovan mashing one would make me feel better
kylechu
We already spent some of that freed up cash on Ward, all that's left is 12-14 million next year depending on how much money Chicago sent. Maybe we'll do something but not like it's a game changer
kylechu
Julio's gotta figure out how to time up that last big step Ichiro always used to do to get into first
kylechu
Rucker's low key been pretty solid lately. 2.70 ERA since the start of July.

Common Buhner win only crediting Larry David for Seinfeld's success
kylechu
Glad the off day healed Goldy
kylechu
He'll bat higher against lefties. He's got a good OBP against righties this year, but lost so much of his pop that it doesn't make sense to bat him high against them.
kylechu
We must see Boston as a good enough emergency option to sacrifice some depth.
kylechu
Hopefully not, that'd mean someone's hurt
kylechu
Everybody poops
kylechu
I've got it closer to $12 million, plus whatever money Chicago sent.
kylechu
We didn't save a ton. Between Ward and Dominguez we're about even on salary for this year, and with the money Dominguez is owed we only saved $12 million next year.
Chicago's sending some money in the trade, but I doubt it's more than a couple million to cover the 2028 buyout.
kylechu
Amazing work to plan an event like that during the trade deadline for one of the most likely guys in the league to be traded that day.
kylechu
It'll have to be Raley unless he stays hurt. Arroyo on the bench would be fun, but he isn't worth a DFA for Raley or Robles.
Ok the Dan suspension being an automatic thing makes sense, felt like he barely yelled at the ump
