off the top of my head, the reason you're having trouble with just returning the ardalis.result is because STJ doesn't know how to serialize it out of the box I guess. it needs some sort of handling/transformation which is what the extension method does.
from the perspective of FE as a library its not feasible to build support in for third-party union types.
as far as I can tell, ardalis.result doesn't work with even minimal apis without those translation/transformation extension methods right?
if it does, can you show me a repro in minimal apis?
