I mean, sure, if you want to give up four bottles.

If you do have a case, check to make sure none of the bottles are broken.

She-it. I've relied on browser and bash history just to remember how to do something.

If a less capitalized group of techies did this, I assure you their systems would have been seized under a warrant.

"Just so you don't overreact, your daughter's underwear isn't particularly valuable. Based on our findings, you didn't lock the window over the kitchen sink. At a minimum, this seems to be an issue with Pella's latch design"

"Impacting patient care" doesn't mean impacting patients. It means supporting the ability to generate revenue by providing billable services.

Perhaps we can integrate BlameBot into Drata, Vanta and Archer. It'd just be a cluster of agents spitting .xls and .ppt docs at each other.

It's not exclusively of interest to CCW'ers. Got an artificial joint, insulin pump or piercings in more intimate locations? That's detectable using the same method. Since this incorporates a larger and more general proportion of the population, I could see broader support in the courts or legislatures.
New forms of surveillance are getting some broad resistance.

The recommendation is a few years' experience in IT. Whatever gets you a broad view of troubleshooting, systems and how organizations actually implement information technology to support their business/mission.
That understanding gives you a lot of useful context. Security isn't in a vacuum. You're balancing security with operational needs.
Now you're more useful to explain and persuade others on how to do things a bit better.
That's why I recommend starting in a broader technical field first.

I'd consider buying one. Just give it ABS and I'd be happy.

Here's the test to determine which path makes more sense to you:
What's your favorite Excel function, and why?

So did I. I guess you fucked up.

Fourth amendment prevents state actors from performing searches, not private individuals.
Now states with privacy rights written into their Constitution that include private actors (California, Illinois, Washington) may bar this.

So it's the cyberpunk dystopia, with less neon and cool styles.

Thank you. I remember dealing with Melissa and ILOVEYOU at my first IT job.
So I guess I'm not that old yet.

From a SOC2 perspective, it's a box checking exercise.
From a sell-side TPRM perspective, a better respected shop's logo on your pentest can build a bit of trust with customers/partners.
But as others have said, look at their sample deliverables. Would that be useful to actually remediate the issues found?

Cyber was one place you could be a weirdo and still be employed.

I take on ministerial tasks, like timesheets, paying bills and scheduling appointments. Writer's block won't affect that.

I have owned a close to stock NA and a FM turbo NA.
I happily drove the stock NA on multi day road trips without a worry.
The turbo car makes me worry driving to the next state. It's a blast to spin the tires in second, but I'd go back to a stock one pretty quickly.

recruiter about times they did drugs with their friends?
What about the time I got high with the recruiter?

If you're asked at an interview, be honest and explain what you've learned from the experience.

Not really. Vuln management is identifying technical issues in your codebase & infrastructure and working with other groups to mitigate or fix them.
It takes some technical and organizational knowledge to be useful there.
Or you can be like an old project manager I worked with, that insisted that the client migrate away from SAP to close a medium finding.
