Basically what you just said but instead of reduced prime tower wastage you reduce the poop amount (the actual purge), as each nozzle doesn’t need purged of remaining filament from switching. All in all expect pretty much the same level as waste as a H2C for example (very little), but with a quicker swap action.

Also I expect less VFAs, the tool head is likely lighter than one from the H2 series due to carrying less mass overall (1 nozzle).

One thing I’m not looking forward much is that these things look like massive appliances. The H series were always big, but the new P3 with the 3P AMS on top looks huge. Would need to see it side by side with my P2S to confirm however.

You'll always have those towers, they're prime towers not purge towers. They're designed to build up pressure in the nozzle, not remove waste filament.

How did you handle it?

This is not something for you to handle. File an insurance claim to cover your damages and give you legal support, and press charges against SBS so they properly investigate this. The first thing you should have done is file an insurance claim, there was a fire in your place. Warranty claims comes next.

fechadura estragada

You can know it exists and come here ask questions without being familiar with it though. Those are not mutually exclusive.

Isso tudo parece-me muito típico de PHDA.

I’m familiar with the Aeropress, I bought mine like 6 years ago, was just asking about the specific ratio of his recipe. Myself, I use 1:15 for 16g, with flow control cap. Steep for 2 min then plunge for 30s.

They might release one printer at a time but they definitely work on many of them at once. The H3C was more than likely already in development before the H2C was released.

They released the H2S, P2S and H2C within 3 months last year (august, october and november).

I'd normally agree with you, in this day and age, but they look different enough that you can make out to be two different products.

(look at them side by side)

GenAI would not invent new details if you tell it to generate it based on another image.

Photos are similar maybe because they were taken at a certification facility, with standard procedures. There's no genAI ID matching any of them either.

I guess time will tell.

That's not how patents work though. In the US you patent to protect your idea and implementation, regardless of how universal it might be. The issue with pinch to zoom for example (which they patented it, per Steve Jobs in '07, making it seem like they had the idea) is that there was already a research lab and a product with it implemented, 3 years before (and that's why the patent was voided).

My comment was not really aimed at the video but rather the comment I replied to, specially the last "claimed they were the first for anything". Read it out of context of the video in general terms.

leadzor

I know, they'll announce it in less than 2 weeks, but the P3C will follow along not much later I predict, there's already leaked pictures of it, with 7 nozzles rather than 9. There's posts about it in https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/comments/1xe3w26/p3c_photo_leaks/

Add coffee.

You missed an important part. How much?

leadzor

Ok como "wagos normais" eu entendo os 221. Os 222 são só até 4mm sim, mas ainda assim eles estão rated para 32 amperes.

Apple never mentioned any other device or technology or claimed they were the first for anything

Disclaimer, this is an Apple household, iPhones for many years, now 18 Pro Max and a Duo (which we managed to have delivered on release day), so not a hater.

But it's not hard to find instances where Apple claimed such things (or even saying they patented things when they weren't the first ones researching them). Pinch to zoom, slide to unlock, AOD, even MP3 players to an extent. They never claimed they were the first ones building a foldable, but they made it look like so for other things in the past.

If money is no object, there's no reason to pick P2S over the X2D. The X2D is as good as the P2S, but has the auxiliary nozzle and chamber heater. It's a more complete printer.

If you want to wait, they might be announcing the P3C soon, with 7 nozzles (tool changer). No clue on the pricing right now, but it'll be more expensive than both the P2S and X2D for sure.

leadzor

Glad I helped. You can probably find deals for the H2D too, it's nearly 2 years old at this point and it'll be a better experience for you.

leadzor

Not from experience, I avoided doing it so far. Some people report more clogs and poorer layer adhesion so you can guess what kind of failures you expect. You're mixing 2 materials that don't mix (even if trace amounts), but I can't give you exact statistics.

leadzor

Based on the H3C animation, considering the nozzles move up and down they might be still leveraging on the Vortek tech, but repurposing it to "lower" the nozzles into place from above, rather than raising them into the toolhead like the H2C.

leadzor

Right now there's no rumored H3S happening. I'm sure it'll come but so far it seems the next generation will be lead by the H3C and P3C at first.

leadzor

Not just material waste and time, multi-material printing with a single nozzle you're bound to have more print failures due to the constant mixture of material + support material in a single nozzle. If you're really thinking doing it that often, I'd not look at any single nozzle printer right now. If larger volumes are a massive requirement, H2D at least. If not, X2D.

For multi-color only, 1 nozzle should be fine if you don't care about time or waste.

leadzor

Os Wago "normais" para fio de 6mm que tinham já me pareciam os indicados. A diferença de 221 para S221 é que o S221 vem em pack. Trocaste uns por outros iguais basicamente.

leadzor

Meh, kinda. They are introducing a new generation of products. A basic iPhone 17 today has nearly the same features as older iPhone Pro models. Can we draw that parallel with a barely 1 year old P2S right now? No, but they did release the X2D which can fully replace the P2S at not much extra cost.
