That was actually sickening listing to Crofty trying to justify that

lickthestamp_sendit

Does anyone else feel kinda bad for him? Obviously this is a result of everything that’s happened over the past few years but still, this just feels kinda sad

lickthestamp_sendit

Don’t call them F1 fans

Qatar?

The first few seconds at the very least are absolutely sped up, watch the movement of the mechanics. I’d be interested to compare the amount of seconds he completes the straights in compared to an equivalent 2019 car too

Edit: just compared it with Verstappen’s pole lap and he has almost the exact same straight line speed, at least through sector one. I’d be shocked if they ever let him run with anywhere near full power so I’d say there’s a decent chance it’s at least slightly sped up

Check your swaybar endlinks, if it has Bilstein suspension that can begin to knock over bumps too

lickthestamp_sendit

They don’t, twinscroll EJ20X/Ys come with EL headers

Cooper Murray cup start???

Assuming you’re in Aus I just stuck it through one of the grommets on the drivers side, there’ll be one with enough room for your sub wire

Where we drafting KPJ next year? Surely Giannis is getting moved and Bucks go full rebuild mode

Sound that siren

lickthestamp_sendit

Mature to make an entire post about his comment, he actually makes some good points

lickthestamp_sendit

Reactive moves like that have never been allowed in F1, big closing speed or not it was a stupid move

lickthestamp_sendit

Idk about globally but in the JDM market and here in Australia some GT-B models are called the e-tune, I think they’re just asking about the general reliability rather than tuning

lickthestamp_sendit

Turning is the absolute worst, one of the cars I work with is a Ginetta time attack car that’s on very sticky slicks most of the time and it’s an absolute nightmare to move around the workshop

lickthestamp_sendit

No I think they run much skinnier tyres as travel wheels, I remember seeing a pic of them on here ages ago

Plus pushing a car on slicks around is a massive pain, I think it’s more likely to be off a V8 demo car that they used for a show run or something

lickthestamp_sendit

Weirdly Red Bull didn’t use that 33 number font when F1 ran that tyre size, so it’s either been restickered at some point between 2017 and 2021 or it’s off an older demo car

You’re not wrong that a bigger rotor exerts more force on the hub but the determining force in braking effectiveness is friction, which is determined by the friction coefficient and caliper clamping force, and is unaffected by the pad and rotor dimensions

lickthestamp_sendit

That’s why I said doesn’t really

lickthestamp_sendit

Rotor size doesn’t really correlate to stopping power

lickthestamp_sendit

Just checked their instagram, it’s not weirdly but there’s a good chance the skid marks are edited in

About 6 weeks but I’ve heard it take up to 3 months, depends where you are
