My slipcase slid off the plastic case inside the envelope so it tore when I opened the envelope. So that was fun. But it also looks like the slipcase had unbound itself at the seam before I even opened it anyway.

My friend (who is not an A-List member) got up and pointed at me and announced “thats this guy right here!” and the whole row behind us cheered.
Was embarrassing but also very funny.
lightcycle117
Ah good to know. I figured it was possible that one of the other releases might not be region free.
lightcycle117
As far as I am aware, no.
Im in the US and the five I have (Election 1&2, Breaking News, Exiled and Motorway) all play on my Region A player despite what is labeled on the box.
lightcycle117
What is this? A rating for ants?

Way I see it, its at the very least future proofing your collection.
Years ago before I had a 4k tv I bought the 4k blu rays to future proof my collection for the day when I had the necessary TV. They often come with regular blu rays you can watch in the meantime.
However, I would say, 4K blu rays can be relatively expensive, and so is the player. While 4k TVs from TCL or Hisense can be very cheap ($300-$500). They’re really not the best in the world, but they get the job done. I have an LG OLED now but I started with a TCL.
You might want to weigh if its worth it for you to drop the cash on the player and movies when said cash could very wll buy you a 4k tv upfront.

Also fear not if you live in region A or something. The release is “region B” as its Australian but its not really. Its labeled such on the packaging but it will play on any regions player.

Lol tbh not even that. The action is pretty fucking awful in 3. Like completely dizzying. Its like they threw the camera in a tumble dryer during the action scenes.
Anyways definitely agree though 1 and 2 are better than 3. As a mega fan of the series im perplexed by the praise 3 gets. Think it largely comes down to the great villain.
lightcycle117
AK4D might be your best bet.
I have never played Hardline with the M110K5 but going by your description and a quick look on youtube I think its what you should try first

I’d love to hear the inspiration behind the giants being the archetypical grey aliens. Very cool and creative idea.
lightcycle117
Ah I appreciate that, thank you. I was previously going off of the regular Calradia Ad Bellum page. Your version definitely has much better instructions.
lightcycle117
I have been looking to install this mod but have gotten quite confused during the installation process, was hoping you might have some answers if its no inconvenience?
Firstly, Calradia ad Bellum requires Orbis Terrae Armarium but that mod has been removed and re-released as EOE Flavor Pack (at least according to Nexus users). Will using the EOE pack suffice or will there be an incompatibility?
Secondly, the Calradia Ad Bellum parent mod requires a lot of RBM patches but doesn't say it needs RBM itself. So do you need RBM? Because said RBM patched mods say they require it but Calradia Ad Bellum doesn't seem to think its necessary. Any experience on this issue?
Do you happen to have an effective load order we could try and replicate?
Appreciate your time!

Having so many cars be locked behind Cinderella Past Midnight. Who, if reddit is to be believed, is the last boss in the early access? (I haven't gotten there yet, I can't say for sure).
Just a little annoyed that all the cars I want are locked behind her and when I finally get them there's gonna be nobody left for me to challenge anyways.
Somebody correct me if I have been misinformed. Game is FANTASTIC otherwise though.

True rumble.
Its basically essential for certain racing games. In Forza Horizon 5 rumble is how the car communicates what its doing for things like traction and wheel spin. Plenty of RWD cars I can drive just fine with my xbox controller are extremely difficult to control on the deck.
lightcycle117
Can still confirm I have still had no issues so far. But perhaps I may not be using it as intensively as some others.

What were wines "bottled" in during the high-late middle ages? Were the clay amphorae still in use or did they switch to something else? (I have seen conflicting information of the prevalence of glass bottles during the period)
In addition, how were they sealed? And how were types of wine marked? (As in, how would one know at a glance what wine is in the container?)

Think im coming up on a year with mine. So we'll see how they hold up going forward.
lightcycle117
I mean, I can only speak anecdotally, but I have two baseus chargers that I use to charge my steam deck and macbook all the time and they have served me well.

Even if you weren't to go for that, I see no reason to go for the Apple Card. Plenty of cards (PayPal MasterCard, Fidelity VISA, Wells Fargo Active Cash, etc) offer 2% regardless of using Apple Pay or not. Ensuring you get rewards on those few occasions you can't use Apple Pay.
Especially considering we don't know what the future of the Apple Card's benefits will be given Goldman Sachs will be let out of the deal in the future.
Perhaps someone else is aware of another card that has unique mobile pay benefits though.
EDIT: Well the Paypal mention certainly didn’t age well
lightcycle117
I mean, okay? If they wanna fuck around like that I’ll just close the card. They’ll lose me as a card customer. So with that said, no harm in sticking around to see if it will last.

Appreciate the reference! At the very least its cool to know the helmet shape isn't a fabrication
lightcycle117
Ah I see! Thank you for the references!
I suppose I should clarify though. In my searches I have definitely become familiar with the general "cone shape" being present in a lot of slavic and eastern style helmets. Though certainly not like the references you have enlightened me to.
However, I have never seen any reference to them being used like this with western European visors. Visors typically seen on bascinets. Such as the houndskull or the flat style often seen on klappvisors.
Is there any historical prescient you know of pairing the two? Or are the reproduction images I linked fabricating this?
Perhaps Ronin (1998) from John Frankenheimer?
Idk if this movie is under the radar in Japan but im American and hadn’t heard of it until a few years ago. Its a great action movie and espionage thriller. Its got not just one, but two, of the best car chases ever put to film.
If you’re an action fan theres a decent chance you’ve seen it but just thought I’d throw it out there.
